I really wanted this necklace- the first time I ordered it was crammed into a small box (Anthro: it should be shipped flat) and several of the placques were already off the rings and hanging. I returned it and forgot about it, but then relented and reordered- I got the 2nd one today (in the same small box)and one of the placques has the lines of beads all bent and crooked and cannot be adjusted . This is a very flimsy necklace, too delicate, and held together with tiny jump rings. It should be stored flat taking up a bit of room. I agree that since it falls over the collar bone and may not lie totally flat on the neck, , it will start to torque and some of the placques will start to go out of place.Yes it has presence, but I hesitate to think what wearing it under a winter coat would do to it- I can see tiny beads falling all over the place!!.I think the Universe is telling me to pass on this one!

This necklace is not for the faint of heart! It's large and in charge, but in a good way. I plan to wear mine with the red Cha-Cha dress from J. Crew for fall weddings.
It's stunning from both far away and up close. The rows and rows of seed beads that make up the necklace are beautiful, well-done and sturdy.
The only hang-up I can possibly see is that the necklace isn't rigid, so when you put it on and start bending over, moving around, the necklace moves with you and can get twisted up.
Other than that it's substantial, well-made and a range of gorgeous warm tones that I can't wait to wear this fall.
