by rabbitlover Tried this crochet skirt in a small a couple of weeks ago in the store and it fits very well (5’3, 115lb, usually 0~2 in skirts). It has an elastic waist, pull on style and no pockets. It is lined and not see through. Love the deep orange-redish color - very rich/saturated (I didn’t see the neutral one at the store). It’s soft and once on it falls nicely over hip. I thought this would be too long but at ~3”pass the knees and even longer in the back it doesn't feel too overwhelming. I have been looking for a skirt in this color for a long time so brought it home with me! However, I didn’t notice it much at the store but now at home I find the center seam in the front (like shown in the product picture) bothers me a little.....

Rated 5 out of 5Â by gnomelover Do you love vintage?
I do. I long for the days when women dressed up for the day ahead. This skirt is wonderful. It has that timeless quality that will make it a staple for years to come. If you closed your eyes and imagined a skirt that whispered the word "feminine," this would be it.
I wear an 8/10. I purchased the medium in cream. It is a little clingy, so I will probably wear spanx underneath this. Sizing up might prevent this. This skirt was sold out within 100 miles of me, so I reluctantly purchased at full price. If it goes on sale, I would love to pick up the red version. My hesitancy would be that the skirt looks so vintage and unique, I would not want people to know I have two of them.

I saw this skirt on a tall, thin sales associate and she looked stunning but since I am neither tall nor thin I was pretty sure it would be horrible on me but decided I had to try it anyway. I was wrong, I loved it! I actually found it really slimming and lengthening with high heel boots. I have a 35 inch waist and 38 inch hips and I'm usually 10-12 in skirts I got the medium, the elastic waist and super soft lining make it really comfortable. I tried it on my natural waist and it hits about 2 inches below my knee, the lace around the bottom is so delicate kind of floats around the bottom of the skirt, the rest of it is a bit thicker and seems sturdy enough that I won't worry about wearing it regularly. I don't wear skirts very often but I think this one could easily be dressed up or worn more casually and is so comfortable that I think I will wear it a lot.
