I saw this shirt online, and loved it. I was drawn to this top because of the tight mid length sleeves and the emphasized waistline. I tend to gravitate towards tops like this, especially if they're striped. Moving on...
I found the knit to be a light weight knit. The texture is sort of like a flexible waffle knit, but not quite. Just as other reviewers say, the stripe that looks white online, is actually a dull lavender. As far as fit goes, I thought it was true to size. I normally wear XS or S and I could wear both sizes in this top; however, I would choose the S because I found it to be a better fit. I wouldn't necessarily size up...depends on your body type.
I'm 5'9'' @ 127lbs. 34B. the top is a little tight to get on (no difference for me between the XS or S) because it doesn't have much stretch. I totally agree with one reviewer saying the stripes create a 3D effect making your chest appear larger. I felt like my boobs were huge in this top! Not really my kind of pro. But if you like that kind of thing; this is a nice top.
Hope this review helps :)

FIRST caveat: what looks like a neutral or even white stripe in the pictures is actually pinkish or lavender. quelle surprise. it's not ugly; you just should know not to expect any white. SECOND caveat: i bought this in an XS, and it fits properly--it *should* be fitted, not baggy. HOWEVER...the shift in the stripe pattern on the front causes some kind of 3D effect that would make ANY man stare at my chest. as a 32dd, i don't need this assist; if you're less well endowed, however, this might be a perk! the trim on this top is definitively navy, in case you weren't sure, and the material is a fine guage knit. i'm 5'3", 107lbs.

I tried this on in the store, and wasn't particularly impressed. The shirt was very short and the pattern was just kind of average. I love peplum, but this shirt was pretty average.
