I could not disagree more with the negative reviews. I think this top is beautiful and unique. I have the peplum tank that's pretty much the same version of this shirt, and both fit in the medium (I'm normally a medium or 8/10) so I wouldn't agree that you need to size up, though I do agree that it is slim through the arms. I am short and I like the length and the placement of the peplum, but I could see this top feeling too short for someone who is taller. Overall I love the jacket and think it will look great with a lot of different things.

I bought this for my Mother. She normally wears an 8 and I got the medium. It fits perfectly - snug/fittted to show off the peplum, Even though she is only 5' 1," I did not buy petIte as I was afraid the peplum would not be in the right place. The regular was just right - this might indicate the peplum might not sit correctly on a tall person,,,,
Only thing to note is that because of the deep neckline, you are limited as to what you can wear under it (if you chose to) - a cami? You need a chunky piece of jewelry (like the model) or a scarf to fill the neck.
The jacket looks equally good with fitted trousers/skinny jeans or a pencil skirt.

My favorite thing about this jacket is that you can also wear it backwards zipped all the way up! Voilà , suddenly it's a long-sleeved version of the Peplum Ponte Tank, also in Ganni's amazingly figure-flattering, textured knit. Lovers of the sleeveless version will appreciate the versatility of this jacket and top in one. I’ll be wearing mine backwards for Fall with boyfriend jeans, twill trousers and pencil skirts for a fitted and feminine touch. I’ll also use it as my go-to jacket to throw over dresses in chilly air conditioning and colder weather.
