A great deal of my wardrobe consists of navy, gray and black. I was looking at this thinking, "I don't need another navy or gray sweater... but a gal can never have too many neutrals, right?" I tried this on in the navy and took it home just a few minutes later. It's a lovely piece. For a tradtional look, the XL fit me better -- just a smidge longer and across the bust, I'm a 36DD. The shoulders were a bit better in the L but went for coverage... The detailing on the hem really pops - but is traditional in its design so it's not too loud -- it's just right. Fabric is SOFT, warm and comfy. Will be a great layering piece for Fall.

This is a well fitting cardigan that is great for casual wear or work. I actually found that it fit TTS: I'm usually a small and the small in this cardigan fit well. It is fitted (although not skin tight) so if you like a looser fit then size up, otherwise I'd recommend your usual size. The neckline has a little bit of a scoop which I like. There is pin-tucking at the top of the shoulders and at the top of the pockets. The buttons are large snaps. The knit is on the thinner side but not too thin. I found it to be soft and not itchy. I got the navy color which has a subtle navy/black heather coloring, but you have to be up close to see it. The waistband fit well sitting at the top of my hips and showing off a waist. The length was good too and I'm on the taller side, with the bottom of the cardigan hitting at the waistband of a mid-rise pant. Also, the washing instructions say you can either hand wash or dry clean (I like sweaters that I can wash).

This is a great little sweater. The shoulders have a little pleating detail that doesn't show as well in the pics on line. The drape of it is great, very comfortable w/o being too heavy.
I did notice that the buttons were really difficult to get undone and on the one I tried on the top one was actually kind of damaging the sweater from being pulled on. So - make sure to use your fingernails to pry apart the snaps....don't just tug on them or you’ll eventually tear a little hole in your sweater :(
