Rated 5 out of 5 by Stunning and Sweet This dress is perfect. It may be my favorite thing in my entire wardrobe and I've only worn it once! First off, everything about it is sweet. The ruffles, the color, the shape: everything. It is a mock-wrap with a side-zip and a smart overlap so no need to fret over wind. This dress is excellently executed and well worth the price. I have an hourglass shape and the dress sits well. Because it is polyester, it is washable, comfortable and lightweight - but it definitely does not look cheap! I am usually between an 8 and a 10, depending on brand. Admittedly, I was waging a small war between the two sizes - Maine doesn't have an Anthropologie, so I usually have to order while crossing my fingers. I took into consideration that other Karen Walker designs on the site were described as running small and I am very happy I went with a 10 - I think an 8 would have been too tight. My one concern was the neckline - The top is billowy in design and the neckline quite low, so I was a bit concerned. I attached a(n albeit grainy - apologies) photo to better describe. It was a bit too much of a show for my taste. However, this was easily fixable with a pin! June 14, 2012
Rated 2 out of 5 by Ill-Fitting I wasn't a fan of this dress. While I loved the print, the fit was way off- at least for me. In the picture this looks like it's a bit of an A-line... it's not. I'm a size 4 on top and 10 on the bottom, so I tend to go for a-line styles, which is why I ordered this. I ordered the 6 based on others' reccomendations of it running small, and it didn't work out. The skirt part was extremely fitted and I had a hard time even getting it over my hips, and the top was way way way too huge. Sizing aside, the style made it look like I was wearing an apron with sleeves. Very strange. Anyhow, I ended up returning it. It may work if you have more of an hourglass shape or apple shape than I do, but if your weight tends toward the hips... stay away. December 22, 2012
Rated 3 out of 5 by Not as expected I anticipated this dress for months: the red color, the cut, the floral design so when it went on sale I bought it immediately. When it arrived the fabric was heavier and more textured than the light and floaty picture in my mind. The color of the red was not as intense and the flowers didn't pop as they did in the photo. I found the dress to be at least a size smaller than the stated size. Alas, it is going back. December 1, 2012

Size Guide

How to Measure

Bust

Measure under your arms at the fuller part of your bust. Keep tape level across your shoulder blades.

Natural Waist

Measure around your natural waistline, keeping the tape comfortably loose.

Drop Waist

Measure around your body 1 1/2" below your natural waist.

Hips

Stand with your feet together and measure around the fullest part of your hips.

Inseam

Using a pair of your pants that fit well, measure from crotch seam to bottom of leg.

Rings

Wrap a length of string around your finger and mark where the end touches. Measure the distance between the end of the string and the mark you've made to determine what size to order.
