Rated 4 out of 5 by This was the dress I was most excited about in this month's catalog - it looked like a classic piece with a few quirky touches and I always love peter pan collars. I ordered the petite size during the free shipping promotion since petite sizes are sadly not available in stores. The taupe top on the navy isn't that obvious in the product shot so I'm including a side-by-side photo. Both colors are lovely, though the orange is a tad bright for me. Incidentally, for the items that I received, the orange ran slightly larger and about half an inch longer than the navy. While I still love the design of the dress, I'm disappointed in the quality. Like others have mentioned, the polyester flows well but is super clingy. The buttonholes are not finished well, so they fray the first time you unbutton the dress. And this is completely unlined (wish Anthro would start listing a "sheer factor" like other clothing retailers!). At first I thought I hadn't pulled the lining down all the way but then I realized it was the pockets that were hanging loose on the inside (see photo). On the plus side, the removable collar is both versatile and well executed (it's a row of buttons and these buttonholes do not fray), and I love the color contrast. The bra snaps are handy and the pockets are huge. This brand (Postmark I believe?) generally fits petites well. The armholes and bust on the 0P fit me well, and the dress came to a few inches above the knee, which felt on the short side for me (I'm 5'2") but matches the model shots. It did feel short-waisted but not quite empire so I'm not sure what it's supposed to look like, but I would like to try on the regular size for comparison. August 4, 2012
Rated 5 out of 5 by Great flattering fit! Just tried both colors on today, and I love them both! So hard to choose between which one to get, I had to think on it and planning on going back later. A little pricey but typical "starting price" for Anthro dresses. I'm 5'9", ~140 lbs, and these are both size 4. I usually wear a XS-S on top, and 6-8 on bottom, and the fit was snug but good. I definitely recommend! September 4, 2012
Rated 5 out of 5 by Lovely for Work or Play I purchased this dress in the navy and took my usual size zero (busty ladies may want to size up, since there was a minor gap in the buttons at this size; however, the armholes on the 2 were too big). I wish it weren't polyester, but it doesn't feel cheap--it fits well and the skirt has a nice flowy swing. The waist is stretchy and makes it easy to pull the dress on and off. The navy is quite dark and the top is more of a taupe than a white, as it looks in the picture. (The collar is white, however.) The waist hits a little higher than the picture as well, almost right under the bust. I would wear out with bright heels or to work with a patterned cardigan...could work well for either! Size Guide

How to Measure

Bust

Measure under your arms at the fuller part of your bust. Keep tape level across your shoulder blades.

Natural Waist

Measure around your natural waistline, keeping the tape comfortably loose.

Drop Waist

Measure around your body 1 1/2" below your natural waist.

Hips

Stand with your feet together and measure around the fullest part of your hips.

Inseam

Using a pair of your pants that fit well, measure from crotch seam to bottom of leg.

Rings

Wrap a length of string around your finger and mark where the end touches. Measure the distance between the end of the string and the mark you've made to determine what size to order.
