I have been looking for a pair of wedges for a while now, but being a mother of a 3 year old boy heels are not the best choice, so am always in flats. Most wedges I've tried on are too high and uncomfortable for keeping up with a growing boy. Am always reluctant to buy shoes online, but saw these and could not resist. They give you the height, but with only a 1.5 inch incline I don't really feel like I'm wearing heels that put pressure on your arch. I've worn them out with my son a couple of times for 2-3 hour outings and they've felt great. Even though they are gold, they are not "out there" gold, more of a muted shimmery shine and so far have only worn them with dark blue skinny jeans and they look great. So, they look great dressed down but will also look great with a dress or skirt. They fit TTS. These are keepers, wish I could find more low wedges like this!

I received these in the mail today and I'm in love! They are the perfect height and color. I thought the gold might be too shiny like in the picture but they have a nice crackled texture.
The only drawback is that they are too small and I have to exchange for a 9.5. I'm usually a 9 but sometimes if a shoe is narrow I need a 9.5, so was the story with these. So, if you're between sizes, size up because I think they are a half size too small if you don't have super narrow feet.
Other than that they are such special shoes and I'm thinking about ordering the black now too:-)

Listen to the other reviews- they slip on the heal! Because they are soo stiff and have absolutely no give they constantly slip off the heal even with heal pads in the back. And I also think maybe if the sole at the top of the toe was more rounded you would better be able to walk naturally, but because they are so stiff and flat you basically are left to march in them. My heals have blisters, and the ball of my foot is bruised from 'marching". Don't get me wrong- they are BEAUTIFUL! I love the look of them, and they are versatile- dresses, skinny jeans, but your feet will pay the price for beauty.
