This salt cellar is very cute, but runs on the small side. I included a picture to illustrate this point. Fun little piece to have on display with very special salt. Wouldn't be suited for every day salting needs due to limited amount of salt it holds.

The tiny salt cellar is adorable, with the spoon being just big enough to deliver a pinch of seasoning. I adore white and blue, so broke out of my comfort zone and ordered the yellow. It is a delectable shade of lemon meringue and is keeping company on the counter, next to a new yellow & white Kalorik toaster, and a vintage-style butter dish in mint & white, another new piece from Anthro.
All of these kitchen accesories sit across the gas stove from a lovely older Italian cooking tool caddy, in the aforementioned colors, plus sapphire blue. They were all inexpensive upgrades and have put a smile on my face this summer, with their freshness and happy relation. For ten bucks, the cellar would make a swell little present (think foodie hostess gift), accompanied by some Celtic, Hawaiian, or other good sea salt.

I knew what I was buying when I purchased this but I love to use different unique dishes when I serve dinner. That's why I love Anthros bowls, mugs and plates so much. I think it's more enjoyable to put a small serving of Parmesan on the table instead of a large can or a spice blend instead of a shaker. Sugar can also be put into the little bowl when coffee is set out for guests. I put a lot of time in to my cooking so presentation is half of it for me.
The spoon is very small so it's very delicate.
