Rated 5 out of 5 by MaryinNY The backghround colour of the skirt in person is a shade of grey that is darker than what's reflected on my computer screen. This darker shade reduces the vibrancy of the colourful botanical prints, which I prefer because it makes the skirt more wearable in an office setting rather than just a resort /casual outfit. The waist of the skirt in XSP measures 25" and fits me well with room for a summer weight top. I plan to pair the skirt with the Pip Knit Blazer, the grey colour of the jacket would enhance the grey shade in the skirt and the botanical colours in the skirt would make the yellow accent in the jacket pop.

I would say this little skirt has a very sweet print, except the colors are very dark for summer. The yellow is nice, but the background is gray! The birds give a little interest. The skirt is VERY tight at the waist. I am normally a zero petite in Anthro dresses and skirts. This skirt has to sit very high on my natural waist to fit. It is very tight at the band of the waist. It has pockets, which is nice, and a polyester lining. The main issue I have with this skirt is that it is very poofy around the waist. It sinches in so tightly, and then is so poofy beneath the sinching. I am torn as to keep or return, but I suspect this will be a return for me. I don't see it being a piece that I will regret not having.
