I was excited when I saw these on-line because they reminded me of a pair of shoes I bought from Anthro several years ago ('09). Those were made by Lucky Penny, which I believe is/was an in-house brand. They were an oxidized silver strappy sandal on a cushy footbed that was a slight wedge. They were pretty enough to wear with dresses, but casual and comfortable too. I bought a pair to wear for 6 weeks in Italy. When I returned, they were on sale and I bought two more pair! The final pair is on its last legs and I thought I would try these since they looked similar. These are stiff and boat-like in comparison and I wouldn't wear them with dresses. I hate to say it, but they look orthopedic. Yet they have very little arch support! I don't have an especially narrow foot but they felt wide, the straps loose enough that the sandal flopped a bit on my foot when I walked. Lengthwise they are TTS. Oh well. The search continues.

I did not give these a second glance when they appeared online, but when I saw them in the store, they looked so comfy in person that I tried them on. Usually I like a flatter sandal, these have an ever so slightly orthopedic look to them. But wow, they are pretty darn comfy. I don't think there is any breaking in necessary! The leather is super soft and the shape does not cut into your feet. Your feet actually feel like they are being cradled. I think they run TTS. I tried on a 6.5 and a 7. 6.5 was just right. 7 fit too, but was a smidge too big and in my opinion sandals look better fitted and without extra wiggle room. I recommend this! Really nice!

I work part-time in retail and even after a 5 hour shift, my feet still feel like I'm walking on clouds. I have Dansko Professional clogs, Cole Haan Air wedges, and Cordani sandals that I also recently purchased - these sandals blow all these shoes away - so much so that I just purchased the silver ones and am contemplating a backup gold pair. The straps are soft and do not rub and the bottoms have ribbed rubber soles so you don't slide all over the place. They are TTS and fit my slightly wider than normal feet. They would not be a good choice for narrow feet. The only slight negative is that the straps do stretch out a lot and I have since adjusted the buckle to the tightest hole since my first wear- shouldn't be a problem to take to a cobbler to punch in more holes if the straps stretch out more.
