Rated 1 out of 5 by Alpinator nice concept re: recycled material, poor execution
I consider myself to be a woman who values "green principles." Hey, I bring my reusable bag to the grocery store. I recycle my paper products. I bike around town. So I admire the concept of this skirt, which is made from "recycled polyester crepe" - too bad that the resulting product looks, feels, and wears like a poorly constructed plastic bag.
I picked this garment up in the store because I enjoyed the pattern, and usually like skirts that are high-waisted but long enough for workplace-defined decency. As soon as I tried it on, however, I found that the material is stiff, hangs poorly, and looks rather cheap. I've been disappointed by the surge in synthetic materials at Anthropologie (e.g. acrylic, polyester, rayon, etc.) but I'm still open to purchasing garments made from such materials if those garments are flattering and comfortable. This skirt not only feels like a cheap high-school graduation gown, it also looks and feels like one.
My bottom line? I would love to support designers who are using recycled materials, but am much more likely to seek out such clothing if it is made from natural fibers.

Rated 5 out of 5 by Mainegirly another fabulous summer work skirt
I love this skirt. The best thing about it is the cut. Great length, draping, and a pocket! I also like the fabric very much. It is light and special, cute and feminine yet breezy. A very cool piece. I do not find the fabric to be at all cheap. And, as you can tell from the photo, this skirt is designed and constructed. Eyecatching. Stylish. I am 5 10, 150. I ordered an eight. It's formfitting in an elegant way. I think a 10 would have also worked. Definitely worth trying on.

I love everything about this skirt....length, fit, print, fabric softness, the way it hangs, and the pockets! Can be really casual or dressed up. Be sure to size down 1 size. It runs big.
