If you have an hourglass shape or smaller waist, then this would run true t size. For me, I am a 28 inch waist - I would say this runs small on the waist as I am usually a size 2-4 in bottoms and got the 8 in this skirt. The hips are full which I find flattering since I am sort of board-shaped. Material is nice and soft, does not wrinkle as much as I thought it would. It is lined. No pockets. I can see this paired with anything and everything- solid or print tops. Striped tops work too (I got it along with the "sleeveless structured halter top" by Deletta, in yellow stripes) But I am tempted to get this mesh embellished top the model is wearing it with as well... I am 5'6" and find the lenght appropriate but still fun- exactly like shown on the model- front falls a little below knee and sides about 2-3 inches above knee.

Saw this skirt online and later in store and had to try it on. There's something intriguing and different about this piece, and in person it did not fail to disappoint! I went with my normal size 4, though tried the 6 as well based on the previous reviews. It depends on the fit you want and the way you want to wear it. I would say it maybe runs a tad small, but i liked mine to fit more at the waist so I can either tuck something in and maintain that feminine silhouette or do a looser top as well. The 6 would have worked too, it just sat a bit lower on my hips. I tried it with the orange knit top and didn't love the way it looked on me, but plan to wear mine with a gauzy white T or a chambray shirt tied in front. Highly recommend! Fun flirty, and versatile!

beautiful summer skirt
This is a stunning skirt! I feel that it runs true to size. If you want it to hit at your natural waistline I suggest going with your regular size. My regular size 6 fits at the waist and flows down nicely and is not to snug. I am 5'10 and the sides are a bit shorter but still are about two inches past finger tip level; the longer front hits at knee level on me. The fabric is light and swishy, and the print is gorgeous.
When I saw this online I scrolled on because it appeared to have too man gathers. I saw it in the store, however, and the colors were too gorgeous to avoid. The pattern is more than blue, white and black, it also a hint of taupe in it, and while I may be the only one who notices the shadowing, well, that's enough for me.
I tried it on and freaked that I initially passed it up. It's perfect, it's soft, can be worn higher or lower on the waist, slits on both sides, it's really nice. As a matter of fact, I've been seeing an older man (considerably older, the type who is known for good taste), and he couldn't stop complimenting it. That tells me a whole lot!! While it can't really be dressed up too much, I will say that I'm wearing it today at 52* with a tank, belt, cardigan and ballet flats. Naturally I will wear it all summer as well. It's a necessary addition to the maxi skirt collection!

Great maxi skirt
I am in love with this skirt. The blue is really pretty in person and the pattern allows you to dress up or down the skirt. The material is thin and light making it excellent for hot summer months while still allowing you to keep your legs out of the sun. The waist band is wider which makes the skirt want to sit at my natural waist. I am 5'6 130 lbs and I bought a small. Fits great and does not touch the ground.

Amazing Design and Fit!
I completely agree with the other reviewers that this skirt is even more gorgeous in person as it is online! I usually wear an XS/S in Anthro skirts and for this one I definitely needed an XS. It's a great weight for summer and the design is amazing and unique.
This is the most beautiful skirt I have ever owned. It's one of the most beautiful pieces in my extensive wardrobe. The material is thick and feels as expensive as the price tag. The lining is the crimson color with a light blue scalloped trim. No one will see that but you but it makes this skirt even more special and lovely. The photo doesn't do the colors justice. The red is much more vibrant. Sort of a neon red/coral color. The thick, high waisted band is so flattering. I am a solid size ten with an hourglass shape and i got the medium. I would say that if you are a size 10-12 but have some extra around the waist, size up.to a Large I plan on wearing it to a bachelorette party with a sheer, lacy black top.

Had to go back for it, because pockets
My roommates and I walked into the store and I saw this skirt right away, I was drawn to the colors. Unfortunately I couldn't afford it at that time (college student), however the next morning my roommate told me about a sale that was going on for Mother's Day Weekend and I immediately went back for the skirt. It is so soft and vibrant and IT HAS POCKETS. I can't wait to wear it all summer and I'm excited that it is now a staple in my ever expanding wardrobe.

I had been eyeing this one online for a few days, and finally tried it on at my local anthro 2 days ago. This skirt is beautiful flattering, and the bright bold colors make it so special. I can't wait to wear it. I am typically a Large on anthro skirts, but this one sits higher on the natural waist, and the medium fit nicely.
This is a great apron/wrap/pencil skirt. The fit is TTS and very flattering. Much prettier in person than online. I am 5'10" and it hit me at the knee--just as I'd hoped. The fabric is very soft and stretchy, but not thin enough to show lumps or bumps. I plan to dress it down with a gray graphic tee and flats and dress it up with blouse and heels.

Unique pattern, perfect color match
The photos don't do the Wrapped Pencil Skirt justice; the pattern is much more beautiful in person. A teal-blue color mixed with corals is perfect for the spring and summer seasons. Can be paired with a coral or neutral-colored top. Form fitting yet not too snug, the skirt can be worn to work or for an evening out.

Quirky but fun
The skirt is beautiful in person, has a unique design, which is what I love about Anthro pieces, I paired it with a neutral shirt and it looked great, I'm petite so pencil skirts tend to hang weird on me, but this skirt fits TTS.
When I saw this skirt online I was going to wait to get it in store but realized that I needed it and I'm so glad I ordered it! I usually wear a 4 in Anthro bottoms and this skirt fits TTS in my opinion. It's the perfect weight for summer and is incredibly versatile. I know this is a closet staple I'll wear for years to come!

Cute in theory
Thought this would be a great casual skirt for summer and was thrilled see online that it was in stock at my local Anthro. They had to search in back for it though and the sales associate just grabbed a 4 to see if this was what I'd described to her. It was a regular, not petite and I usually wear a 2 but thought I'd just see. As the other reviewer described, it's a pull on with elastic in the back only. To be honest, I had a really hard time pulling it up over my hips but when I finally wiggled into it, the back waist sagged and there was too much volume in the skirt. It was still above my knee and I would have tried a smaller size but don't think I could have gotten it on. Don't know what to say about the sizing. Had there been more stretch to the elastic in the back or had the buttons actually opened in the front, I guess it would be true to size. I'm 5'1" 115 and an hourglass shape with a 10" differential between my waist and hips. Perhaps it would work for a straighter figure, but unfortunately it didn't work for me. If it fits you, I think you'd like it.

tight in waist but worth it
As the other reviewers mention, this skirt is elasticized only in the back - I'm curvy on the bottom so I could not pull it on that way, but instead pulled it down over my head. I have a small waist, but bigger hips, so it fit perfectly once I got it on. I'm keeping it because it's a great casual skirt that I anticipate will get much use this spring/summer. I am 5'2" and ordered the regular, it hit right above the knee which is where I like the length in a casual skirt.
I just received this today and I love it! It is super soft to the touch, slight sheen in the fabric. It is lightweight and drapes beautifully. I went with the petite size even though I never wear petites because I wanted something that hit closer to my knees like in the picture (the regular size would have come close to my ankles). I think it runs big because based on the size chart it seems to fit more like a 2P than the 0P that I got. That's ok because I would rather wear it lower on the waist. A great not-so-basic basic.

The skirt runs a bit big. It is so soft and is flattering. I think it will be great for a change from pants in those hot summer nights. Still casual, yet a bit elevated from the rest of the crowd!

I found this skirt ran a little bit small in waist. I sized up so that it fit lower on hips, which also made it a little longer, which works for me since I'm tall.
As someone who often finds skirts to be too large in the waist when they fit in the hips, it was great to find this skirt. This is quite snug in the waist in my normal petite size, but fortunately if has all those buttons at the top which successfully prevent gapping. It does highlight a small waist beautifully (unusual in a denim skirt), and if you have this kind of body type you will find it flattering. If you do have to size up a lot to get the waist to work, I suspect there will be too much fabric everywhere else and it probably won't look as good. The color of the wash is accurately depicted in the photos and is a really versatile medium blue shade. The petite version of this skirt finished just above the knee on me - and I am 5 feet 3 inches tall with a high waist (and this skirt certainly sits at waist). I would guess that some people who are a few inches taller than me would still prefer the petite version because I think a slightly shorter length works better for this skirt.

Good medium weight basic denim a line. I'm 5.9 and the medium hit the top of my knees. Usual a line flare. I didn't think it was too much.
I am a 6-8 or a 28-29 in jeans. 28 inch waist. 5'9 and 140 pounds
Medium fit well.
