This is what we use when eating rice in Japan
Some people say that this is too small - to me, there is no too small or too big as this is the standard size for rice bowls in Japan. This is North America and people may not cook rice so often at home, so it is good for some other things but I agree with some reviewers it is too small for cereal. Maybe good size for ice cream or something. In my home, the bowls are used for rice and dog food. Mine is pink one (I normally hate pink but this one is an exception!), of course for rice, hubby uses green one, my chihuahua blue one. I appreciate Anthro carries these for years. I first bought these in 2009 I believe, broke some of them and purchased some more this year. I hope Anthro will have more traditional patterns. The bowls are durable and packaging is great, always arrives in a perfect condition when purchased online.

    So happy
I'm so happy I bought these! They're the perfect size for serving rice and the kelly green pattern is even prettier in person :)

Just when I thought I was over my "buy almost every bowl and/or plate that strikes my fancy at Anthro" phase, I noticed these little bowls. I have passed by them DOZENS of times, but just the other week, I really noticed how beautiful they are. I bought a few of these, and the larger Atom Art serving bowl. They look lovely together! I have to say, I didn't realize how useful this small size bowl would be. I've used them so much already - to put chopped ingredients in while cooking, for small portions of cereal or dessert, for leftover storage, etc... I'm sure Anthro will keep coming out with variations in the coming years, and I am excited to add to my collection.

    Love these!
I have these in the chartreuse, dark green, and orange--for years I've had solid white plates and I thought it might be nice to add a pop of color to my dinnerware. Enter the latte bowls. I pretty much love everything about these--the color is cheerful, which I swear makes it more fun to eat out of than if it were a plain, white bowl. The shape is good for gripping, so if you have kids or a slightly clumsy hubby, this is awesome. I've primarily used these to heat up the oatmeal I make a big batch of early in the week or soup (I hate plastic containers--our dishwasher infuses them with the taste of detergent, so I don't use them much anymore). My old bowls would get hot to the touch--these get a little warm, but so far, no burned digits. Overall, I'm really happy I got these and will probably look to add another color in the future.

    Lovely bowls
I just bought four of the parchment colored bowls after always passing by them when I went to the store and I'm more than happy! These bowls are a perfect size for the foods I eat and the design is so cute! It's got such a vintage feel to it, I recommend it to all my friends.

    I love these bowls!
I purchased these bowls over a year ago and my family of four has used them daily. They are a great size and I love the colors--but more importantly, I love the quality. They have survived the microwave and dishwasher and have never chipped or cracked.

    Order these napkins!
I bought two sets of these fabulous napkins. They are wonderfully large, thick, and wash very well. From the online photos they seem thin and it looks like there is a lot of white in the patterns, not so. These are very bright and saturated colors with only a little bit of white in the background of each print. They also seem delicate, but are much more durable than they look in the photos, almost like a thin dish cloth thickness. I only use cloth napkins and I use these for everyday and have already used them while entertaining, they are the best I have purchased in years. I will buy more when they go on sale (if they don't sell out first) These are worth every penny, 32 bucks is a steal!

    Beautiful
These napkins are great - fun colours, good size- I really love them. Buy them - you won't regret it.

    No iron!
My family has moved to using cloth napkins in place of paper to reduce our waste. I've been ironing the cloth napkins. Yes, someone please hand me the vodka, I've been ironing the cloth napkins. Not so with these! I try to grab them out of the dryer as soon as they're done and lay them out flat on a table, and voila! Perfect. They're softer than the other ones I bought, bright and cheerful and also hide stains fairly well, which is nice when the vodka runs out and I resort to red wine. Anyway, I love, love, love these napkins. Absolutely fab.

    Adore These Plates
I spotted these plates in Soho, NYC Anthroplogie and loved them, but I did not purchase them and wass sorry afterwards. I called the store the following day and asked them to hold two for me...the chameleion and the bug plates. I admired the two oddest looking ones because of the contrast between the old fashioned shape of the plates and the weird graphics.. One is on display in a built in wall cubby shelf and one is sitting atop an antique dresser. I do not use them for food and I would never think of washing then any other way than by hand. Too adorable to risk breakage or scratching.

    Fun and lovely
I put this plate and three others (Honey Bee, Black Swan, Pufferfish) from the "Natural World" set on an online registry for my upcoming nuptials. However, I neurotically started to worry that this one and the honey bee would disappear before anyone purchased them--they have been out longer than the swan & pufferfish and the wedding is still a couple months off. So I ended up just ordering those two myself and I'm so glad I did! I love the mix of vintage charm and "non-traditional" creature . The colors are vibrant and they have great attention to detail. I haven't used them yet, I'm kind of afraid to mess them up, but they actually seem pretty solid so I'm sure they will be fine. They would be great for purely decorative use, but I'm looking forward to serving dessert to guests on them!

    Alternative for kids
I bought these to try to get my 5 and 3 year olds to eat their dinners; they love lizards and the like so I bought the chameleon design for both. I was prepared for disappointment with the quality based on other reviews but these are near perfect. There is a slight misalignment at the border with the white flowers but you'd have to look closely. They are quite heavy plates which is great as they looked a little delicate on-line. I will be ordering more as they are inexpensive and would make great gifts. My girls love them.

    Quirky cup and saucer
I love the design of this cup and saucer, so fun. It's also quite big which is great for me as I'm British so you know I need my tea! Love the details on this and the matching saucer.

    Tea for Me
I have recently started a blue and white teacup and saucer collection. Recently as in this is my second set and I couldn't be more in love. It looks great.. This is stoneware which makes it a bit heavy though, I find that when the cup is full I need to hold it with both hands or it just might tip over! Other commenters said that this is no dainty teacup; agreed, no worries about breakage here. I might even let my bf use it! The weight won't be an issue (if it can be considered an issue, just takes some getting used to) for his big strong hands. The rim is not very spill proof either, curves outward so if you fill it too much it will spilleth over..

Great multi use addition to match set
I got these even though my family are not tea or coffee drinkers. That being said, I found the bowl with this set oddly a tad blah. So, with these being a pretty substantial size for teacup, I will use for soups and or sauces, etc. with dinnerware. The design is stunning, quality great. The whole line is sturdy and unique, and the handle of this is really clever and unusual. I have it displayed with my old dragon china and it holds its own along side of it. For price point, great set. Cute even if you just got it for drinks. I suggest trying a couple of different plates for fun, design contiues over to back which adds interest. So cute!

    Dainty, whimsical, and adorable!
I absolutely love these plates, and I was so excited to see that they were back in stock. I ended up buying eight of them (even though I really don't have a need for eight canape plates). Plates are sturdy quality and hold up fine in the dishwasher. They're a little pricey, and luckily I was able to nab them during the Black Friday sale. If you're on the fence due to the price, I say go for it. They're definitely unique plates and a conversation piece, though maybe I went overboard with getting eight. The hard part was trying to spell out a word without using any repeating letters, but I guess some people end up choosing whichever plates are the most appealing. I always have a difficult time with any items that have letters--I always need it to make up a word! I made sure to scoop up the famous "U" plate. If the Unicorn plate is back in stock, purchase it as soon as possible! It's always the first to go.

    Great dessert plates
These are gorgeous little dessert/canape plates. They're the perfect size and so pretty. I love all the designs but as I couldn't afford the full alphabet I picked letters that would spell out words so that I could display the plates when I wasn't using them. Love, love, love them!

the U is slowly driving me insane.
I am so obsessed with these plates. The illustrations are really beautiful; the details are amazing. I've found a few with some chips or irregularities in the finish (bumps, weird bubbles, images not quite centered) but they have been easy to return and find pristine replacements for them. I think my favorites are the L, O and P plates but it's so hard to pick just a few! I have been kicking myself for the last 4 months for not buying the U back when I first noticed these online and started buying them. I decided to collect all 26 and through buying them online and hunting them down at a number of stores I've collected all but the elusive U. The website says that they are available in a number of stores but I've called every one and no one has them! Please, please, please find us some more U plates. My wall display is going to look so weird without one.

    Amazing Pictures and Quality!
This plate (as well as all of the others) are simply amazing. I have been using this plate for months and the condition is just as fantastic as the day my husband bought it for me. Just be sure to hand wash it. The colors are incredibly vivid and the picture contains so much whimsy! This plate looks exactly the same in person as what you see on your monitor (assuming the contrast/brightness ratio isn't way off kilter).

    vivid hummingbird plate
...bought the hummingbird plate for my grandma as she loves birds and it is even prettier in person. The yellow is bright and cheerful and the design is unique and fun. It almost seems too pretty to use, like it should be displayed, but she will enjoy it either way. I was definitely impressed when I opened the box. I would imagine the other styles would be just as nice. I thought the chameleon was really cool and loved the colors, but wasn't sure about eating and looking at that animal.

    Love these plates!
I ordered these plates as a wedding gift thinking they would just be something fun and different. They are beautiful! The colors are vivid and so pretty. They are larger than I expected. I liked the set of four so much I ordered a set for myself after seeing them.
