    Great blouse...runs LARGE for Maeve
Tried this in the Blue Motif. It is in no way see-through (as rayon - and Maeve tops in general - can sometimes be). It IS an infinity top, meaning, the fabric in the front "loops" underneath. Maeve did a good job here: the top is secured not only with a snap, but is also sewn shut in one area as well (about 1" above the snap closure). With that written, I would recommend a cami underneath this, just to err on the side of caution. ---------- I have very large biceps, and very wide shoulders, so Maeve has always put me in this situation where I need a 4 for the body, but a 12 to accommodate my biceps and shoulders. This is NOT the case with this top: the size 6 fit comfortably in both the arms and in the shoulders, albeit it was slightly large in the chest area. So I would recommend sizing DOWN from your usual Maeve size, one, maybe even two sizes (the latter if you are very petite). Also the arms on this are very long; if your arms are on the shorter side, going with the Petite version of this may be a better call. ---------- This is just a nice staple piece. And it really looks great tucked AND un-tucked (always a plus).

    beautiful skirt
This skirt has a lovely sheen and the colors really pop. I ordered the size 2 and it fit well. I am not straight (have hips) and this skirt has just the right amount of flare that is does not hug my bottom too tightly. It sits well at the waist just like in the picture and the drape is perfect. I really think that this style would flatter many body types. It hits just at the bottom of my knee (I am 5'6") and is great with either boots or pumps. So glad I found this beauty!

I got the black in this top and it wasn't sheer at all -- no cami needed. I like the added feature of the wrap on the front, but it is a little low, which is a factor to consider when you're 36DD. It might have been a little higher if I sized down to a 10 (everything is comfortably roomy in the 12), but I thought it would be too tight in the shoulders and arms. I have long arms and the sleeves almost touch my wrists. I usually roll up my sleeves anyway, so it's not a big deal. Overall, a great purchase!

    Unique!
This is quite the statement piece with the laser-cut 'esque' design so it only hurt a little buying it at regular price. 'Laced Chambray Buttondown' is a medium weight sturdy chambray that has a smooth texture, similar to a fine suede. Note this is not cotton and due to the floral detail, I wouldn't risk throwing this in your regular wash. I'm a shorty and the PETITE XS fit perfectly snug and slimming allover but pulled in the chest area when I started moving around...and came unbuttoned a few times with a 34B padded bra on. This could be easily rectified with body tape placed vertically between buttons. I typically prefer a LITTLE bit more room for any possible shrinkage or weight fluctuations so I ended up purchasing standard XS. Wore it to an event and received tons of compliments! Ladies, treat yourself to this one!

    Better than perfect
I am 5'7", 130 lbs, 34b and went with the medium - fits lovely! The quality and details are exquisite, worth ever penny. Looks excellent with black skinny jeans as well as darker washed bootcut jeans.

    Great top
I'm 5'3" 115 lbs with a very petite torso. I got the regular XS and it was perfect. I normally buy tops in S but I tried it in the store and it was too big. The shirt shrunk slightly after going through the dryer but still fits great. Actually I like it better because it's a tad shorter now, originally it was more like a tunic. Love the quality, definitely can recommend. (Photos are pre-shrinking.)

    Gorgeous!
Even though the name of the blouse is "peasant," nothing peasant about it. First, kudos for a real silk blouse and not synthetic fabric. It may look delicate but it's well sewn. However, one must take the blouse on and off a bit more careful and a t-shirt because, after all, it's sheer silk. Speaking of sheer, this blouse is very see through so a tank top is a must. A Georgetown-DC sales associate suggested that this blouse can be worn over a tank dress, brilliant idea of multi-tasking! The fabric flows beautifully and I like the muted flower print to make the lace details shine. It shows off my figure and hides the flaws, love it. Thanks to the previous reviewer for the tips about sizing. I'm 34B and regular size Small fits me perfectly, both width and length. I haven't came across a unique blouse like this in a long time. I think it's worth the price because the designer put a lot of thought and talent into this blouse.

    Just delightful.
I'm loving all of the sheer tops for spring/summer, and this one is no exception. It's got a whole lot going on (printed, sheer silk; textured bib; crochet trim) but manages to ring simple, casual and comfortable. It is, admittedly, a bit short for my taste, but it works. Also, for what it's worth, the sleeves are not necessarily sleeves as there is no seam underneath (I'm sure there is a technical term for this, but I'm at a loss). I'm still not sure whether this can be worn without a cami. The silk is definitely sheer, but it's *not* sheer around the bust area. I'm including two pictures, one with a white cami and one with a nothing but a bandeau bra underneath. I think in a more casual atmosphere, sans cami is fine. I normally wear a size XS, but the store I was at only had a S and it fit fine. For reference: 120 lbs, 5'4", 36B-27-27 and I purchased a S.

Love this top. Very feminine, whimsical, with a vintage look and feel. Yes, it is shear but not at the bust area where the heavier lace is. I am 5'4" 125, 34C and bought the XS.

A quality and versatile - worth the price
This shirt is super soft but durable -- the quality is amazing. I can see myself wearing it with so many outfits -- under sweaters, as a jacket over dresses, tucked into/tied over skirts, over graphic tees with leggings, etc. The fit is GREAT as well -- I am 5'9" and ~140, usually a size 4-6 in dresses (I am small-chested and have smaller arms for my size) and this shirt could not have fit better. LOVE LOVE LOVE. No complaints, do not hesitate and get this shirt!

    Just love!
I spotted this in the store the other day & it immediately appealed to me. Usually these type of shirts are either too big or too small on me. Tried this on in my usual size small & fit was great! As I tried on I thought abt the weather being warm so wld wear w/ sleeves rolled, open front & tank underneath. Just what I did yesterday-paired w/ navy tank, crop jeans & sandals. Wore all day-very soft & comfy. No regrets! 5'3", 115#, usually a size small in tops.

    CLOTH and STONE GOLD
I am already such a fan of Cloth and Stone and this shirt is pure gold. The railroad stripes and the light bleach like fading throughout create such great slimming lines! I appreciate the buttons on the upper sleeves allowing you to roll them up and button it for a second option to the sleeves being rolled all the way down. The fabric is so soft and comfortable not itchy at all. Fits true to size, got my normal size Medium. A great versatile chambray button to have.

    Cute Summer Top!
I bought this top in a size regular 0. For reference, I am 5'1'' and 120 lbs and usually a regular XS or size 2 in tops. Unlike the other reviewers, I found that this top ran slightly large and, hence, decided to size down. Other reviewers mentioned that the cap sleeves might run a little small. This was not the case with me, and I did not find them restricting in the smaller size (and I do not have thin arms). I also did not find it flattering when it was not tucked into jeans or a skirt- the loose, billowy style didn't give me much of a shape. When it is tucked into jeans, however, it is darling. It is slightly low-cut- I'll have to wear a cami underneath it for work. Also, the pattern is as pictured- and I loved the bright pattern for spring. The fabric definitely feels synthetic, but I didn't mind, as it still feels cool and smooth on my skin. It is not very see-through either. Overall, though it isn't the perfect anthro top, I couldn't resist buying since it was such a cute, summer pattern.

14 fit XL in watermelon print
I'm typically a size XL & 14 and this top fits me like it does in the model's photos so I think it's true-to-size. The pattern is adorable--it looks even prettier in person. The sleeves are really comfortable too. There's not too much material so it doesn't look bulky when layered under a cardigan. I wouldn't pay full-price for the solids but feel this print was worth it. I like how it has a slight A-line shape so it flows well over the hips (I'm a pear-shape). It's just a great top for summer. I'd love to see this cut done in other patterns.

Cute quirky blouse that is true to size
I tried this on in the store and it was so fun! The pattern is really distinctive without being too loud. The fit was accurate - I'm on the curvy side and usually take a 12/14, and the 14 fit comfortably loose and flowy. The only issue is that the blouse is pretty long. It went all the way down over my bottom. Some people might have an issue with that, but I do still think it would look good worn either over some skinny jeans or tucked in.

    Very flattering!
I have been looking for a button up shirt like this that is loose, but not big and bulky. While it is a top that is supposed to have alot of extra fabric, it is flowy and hangs very nice on. Some tops like this, even at anthro, will end up having no shape and feels like youre wearing a giant pillow case with holes cut out for your neck and arms. hahaha but NOT this one. This is the good fabric. It hangs on you and just feels so silky against your skin. Cant explain it, but if you are like me and in search for that perfect button up casual look, get this one, because they did this one right! I usually wear xs or s in anthro, I got xs in this, it is made big anyway, so the xs is fine. The small looked baggy, but not in a good way. Im 5'8" and 130lbs 32b if that helps out any. I also wear a 0 in the dresses usually.

    Perfect shirt
The fabric is a nice medium weight and has a perfect drape to it - I noticed that even when it's creased at the end of the day, I can hang it up and by morning it looks fresh again (no need to iron!). The color is exactly as pictured - a really lovely light grey that goes with everything. The split in the back is a perfect height too - it sits nicely just below the waist of your jeans so that you aren't showing skin everywhere you go. For the record, I'm 5'1 with a 34H bust and the L size provided exactly the right amount of coverage around the bust. They say when you find something that you love you should buy two of them - I am seriously considering buying a second shirt just in case they sell out!

    Nice shirt
I purchased this in moss. Everything about it is lovely except for the split in the shirt tail in back. The split is to the waist, which causes the fabric to sit on the sides of the hips like a hospital gown open in back. I sewed up the split and kept the shirt. They might want to rethink this design detail.

beautiful turquoise, navy & black combo
I bought the black combo in XL and it fits me as shown on the model. It's very lightweight and the elastic on the sleeves is comfortable. I especially love how the mix of colors works with blue or black. I wore this top a little dressier at a Danny Elfman/Tim Burton symphony concert but I'm going to wear it causally with my old jeans too. You can wear different colored tanks underneath that will show through the black crochet. The tassels are a little on the long side so I double knot the bow to shorten it. They did a great job matching up the pattern on the back and sleeves. I've had good luck with how the blouses by this brand wash well. The material looks fragile but isn't. I just put it in a mesh bag when I wash it in my washing machine. I air dry and it looks good as new.

    Beautifully Boho, Softly Structured Top
Many boho tops can be way too oversized, resulting in a shapless, grudgy mes. This one, however, is an exception. FYI: 8/10 on top, broad shoulders/back - I usually choose a 10 (M/L) in a button-up shirt and an 8 in one that has an easier shape (S/M). In this one, I purchased the M, largely due to the bust. I am a 36C. The top half of the blouse is fitted, and then it falls gently away from the body. There is some structure, due to the seaming details and the instet pieces of lace fabric. If you had smaller breasts and were not so broad, you might size down if between sizes. I couldn't, as the top wouldn't allow me to tie the shirt without it looking too tight. While I might like to wear it without the tie, I always want to have options. Speaking of the tie, the green motíf, the one that I parchased, doesn't have the fringe at the end. I actually prefer that because, frankly, that makes the top look a little cheap. The colors are remarkable. Though polyester, this top flows like a silk/cotton that has some body. The lace is a light beige color, and it, too, has some body. The top isn't itchy or rough, so it strikes a nice balance of being softy structured. Because of my shape (8/10 top, 4/6 on bottom, 5'3"), I can easily wear this one with leggings, skinny jeans, shorts and skirts. This is worth the price.

    Pretty, but why so pricey?
I like this top. It looks good, the fit is nice and the colors are great. However, it's polyester - why does it cost $100? I failed to look at the fiber content, big mistake, but like the top enough not to bother returning it. I got compliments on it when I wore it (only once so far) but I feel stupid for paying so much for a cheap fabric. The tassels are a bit large but since they match the blue in the shirt I'll leave them. Overall, not a bad look.
