Nice, soft material. Not at all itchy! I agree that it is more of a pumpkin color and the cable pattern adds interest to the sweater. I love the length and the drape. I would buy this is the ivory if it was available too!

Beautiful, high quality sweater
This is a beautifully made sweater! Perfect length - can be paired with jeans or leggings. I'm a Small to Medium on top and the Medium works well for me.

Cozy sweater for the winter!
This sweater is very soft with an interesting knit. I purchased the "yellow" which is actually
pumpkin orange, much like what you see online. It's not bulky or boxy at all. I purchased the XS petite.
It is very flattering. The cut is not high low which I like, with slits on either side. Hopefully, it
will wear well. That remains to be seen. Lately, I have found the quality of a lot of the clothing is
not equal to the prices Anthro charges.
This sweater is mega cozy and mega cute! I got the burnt orange color and its divine. The design is so fun and so ANTHRO! I ordered an XL because I love an oversized sweater, and I found that it fits like a dream. I think the sleeves are long and the sweater style is a bit oversized...but I'd still say to order TTS unless you want it to be less oversized. Downside for sure is that it sheds...but that's gotta stop eventually, right? I think the design is worth the shedding!

Honest review. Beautifully made. Runs large.
Love the way this sweater is made and how it feels. I bought the black/grey sweater and it's a beautiful combo. It's not too itchy based on other reviews. I mean, if you didn't wear anything under the sweater, then it might be itchy. However, I've had itchier sweaters and would be comfortable in this. I'm a Medium/Large and bought the Large (Size 12 and 5'7"). It is WAY TOO BIG for me and fits like a swing coat. I'm not sure if I exchanged it for the Medium if it would fit better. Looking at the thin model, I don't know how the back of the sweater sits against her back. Not sure if they pinned it from the front. Belted this would look better, but it will have a lot of extra fabric. I want to try the Medium but I'm not sure the back of the sweater will fit against my back. Think I have to return it. If you're thin, the way the sweater will hang on you will be fine. If you are curvy like me, it might make you look bigger. Just gorgeous though. The orange looks nice too. Hope this review helps as I refer to reviews before I purchase.

I was so excited to see this product was on sale (I had been stalking it for a while). I purchased it, it arrived promptly, and when I tried it on it was instant love. The sweater is so cozy and wonderful for cuddling up and watching tv, but also has functional value outside of the house. I love the way the model in the picture paired it with a belt, and many t-shirt color combinations will look great with the color. The sweater does run a little big; I ordered a large and am short enough to have it cover my butt with leggings. Would definitely recommend!
I received this in the mail on Wednesday - wore it with black leggings and riding boots on Thursday and received countless compliments. The knit is chunky but not bulky, the detailing on the back is beautiful, and it looks very expensive. At 5' 3", I was a bit concerned that it would be overwhelming but it seems perfectly proportional for small and tall women. At the sale price, it is an absolute steal! The only note I would add is that it looks like it is warmer than it actually is... for our mild southern winters, it's fine, but it doesn't provide enough warmth to be worn alone anywhere that's really cold.

This vest is so beautiful and it fits over-sized but not ridiculously so, just enough to give it movement. Now the bad. Somebody else mentioned in the reviews that it sheds like crazy, yes the fringes do. Why Anthropologie design so beautiful of a sweater and ruins it with so cheap material for fringes. As I got it on super sale, and didn't want to return it, then I exchanged the fringes for others. I went to my local craft store and bought a yarn very similar to the one crocheted on the vest which doesn't shed. The fix cost me $5 plus one hour of work, but now I can wear them with beige pants without them turning black because of so much shedding, and for that one star less.

The photo online does this cardigan no justice at all! I saw it in the store and thought it was unique and pretty, then I tried it on and was blown away! It was just stunning on! It hung perfect in all the right places and the design on the back is just beautiful! I happened to be wearing a long sleeve black tee, jeans and black motorcycle boots...and the outfit looked spectacular, although I can envision many different ways to wear this! For me this was a must have even though it was a bit pricey!
I do not wear wool, so I was delighted to find this cotton sweater in a classic cable knit style. It is soft and cozy and a beautiful creamy white. I would say the sizing is somewhere between true to size and a bit large. I am 5'3, 105 lbs, 32A. I bought the regular XS. It fits appropriately, but is loose (probably a tad looser than it looks on the model). There's plenty of extra room to layer underneath (which is necessary because it is a loose cable knit). I'd say if you want it more fitted and only plan to wear a thin underlayer, size down. If you want it comfy and roomy with the option to vary your under layers (e.g. thin tank vs buttondown/collared shirt as pictured), order your regular size.

What's not to love about the classic fisherman's sweater? So, hard to find these days but beloved by most people. I also like that it is a cotton fabric and for me TTS. I got the small and am 34B. It fit to perfection. I do wish it came in some soft pastels for the spring and summer.

comfy chunky fisherman's sweater
i bought both the Orange and ivory when they first went on sale. My favorite is the orange-it isn't as bright as shown online and I LOVE the color. I have returned so many orange, salmon, etc. items because they never seem to photograph true to actual color and often show up in some fluorescent color or totally different from what is shown online and not in a good way. This time I was pleasantly surprised that I loved the Orange color magnitudes more than what was shown. It is more a medium pumpkin. I also ordered both M and L as I was unsure what would fit best. I tried on the L first and didn't bother trying on the M as the arms were just long enough in the L with a tiny bit of extra length. I fall between M and L in many styles but in this brand I often seem to opt for the L unless it is really oversized.. I have long arms but do not often have problems with sleeves being too short so if you have extra long arms this may not work, despite the model in the white having sleeves folded up. Not the type of sweater that accentuates your figure which is probably obvious from the photos. I just got mine today, on the coldest day of the winter and have the ivory one on now. It is comfy and not too warm. Plan to layer as shown in the photos as the length is perfect for a layering button down or tee to peeK out from under the bottom and show through the open areas of the knit. I highly recommend.
I looked at this online several times, debating whether or not to get it - and then I saw it on one of the employees at my store and knew I had to have it. I'm 5'6, 140 pounds with fairly broad, athletic shoulders and a size 4 bottom half, and the XS/S fits great. The sides are open, so you have to wear something underneath, but that feature makes the sweater even cuter than it looks online. After 4 wears, it's worn beautifully. Highly recommend - I get compliments every time I wear it!

Love this Chici Neutral
This is a very sweet look. I love ponchos in general, and like this piece is both a light sweater and poncho mix. I got a size S and it fits TTS. I also got the cream- which is very vesatile as a color. I love the fan pattern in the sweater; it feels sort of Asian-inspired and lovely. Can easily been worn casually or dressed up. I agree it's very soft and comfortable. It requires a top or cami underneath due to the open poncho arm.
My only complaint is that I would have loved the arm length to be a little longer. I think it fits TTS in torso length, shoulders and overall style, but the arm length rides up a little. I think longer arms would make the sweater feel more seasonally vesatile- it almost has a Spring/ligher sweater feel and with longer arms- it would fit more as a sweater that you wear for style and warmth in the winter. Also, the shape makes it a little hard to layer or wear with some jackets/coats. This is the only reason I gave it 4 instead of 5 stars.
That said, I love it. I have worn this top with layered delicate neckalces (the lightness of the sweater seems to call for more delicate jewely), skinny jeans, and ankle boots. Also worn with a black pencil skirt, suede boots, large gold hoop sort of earrings- for an evening event.

Comfortable and Gorgeous
I found this sweater on the onesie rack at my local anthro and was immediately attracted to it. It's deceiving, because it doesn't look soft at first, but it so is! It's super soft and I have yet to have any issues with it. It's also very flattering and so easy! You can up your whole look by just throwing it on. I have it in cream and absolutely love it. I've also found that it's extremely versatile in that you can layer it (with perhaps a tank, turtle neck etc...) and long enough to wear with leggings. (I'm tall so that's a must for me.)
Very pleased with this buy and would recommend again and again.
The colors of this vest make it stand out from all the blah winter shades; it will perk you up now and it's the perfect piece to take you into Spring. I practically ran to it! It looks best as worn by the model; the front will look like you have a beautiful shawl wrapped around you. Also super flattering from the back view with it's verrtical lines. Very soft and light, I think it still has a bit of warmth. Nice layering piece. The slight touch of mohair (not itchy but fuzzy!) is just on the outer edges, not by your face or neck. Delicate though for sure, but that's what gives it it's special handmade look. Just beware of catching. Fit is TTS for things that have just 2 size ranges. I took my usual m/l , I'm petite and the length is fine (covering my butt in the back). I'm planning to wear it over recently purchased Long Form Tees from Pure and Good, so many colors go nicely!

M/L can work for XL
I usually take a size XL or 14 in Anthro tops but decided to order this vest in the M/L. It fits great--not as roomy on me as shown in the model's photos. But, the knit has stretch and overall looks more tailored through the shoulders & back instead of being a little flowier like on the model. I wear mine as a shawl collar since I don't like extra material around my neck. It looks good belted too. I bought the Long-Form Tee in the Slate which is a perfect match for the blue in the pattern. It's such a soft & pretty sweater!

Perfect California weather sweater! xoxo
LOVE THIS sweater. The colors are more muted than the photo appears just so you know. However I still love it. I think the xs/sm or the med/lg would fit anyone. The main difference is length. Im 5' 10" and the longer was better for me. You can wear it as the photo shows or more like a vest if you bunch of the fabric. I think the vest way is even cuter. I rarely buy a full price sweater since I live in CA but this is perfect year round for where I live. Dress it up or down. Don't wait for it to go on sale...this one won't make it to the sale rack.
