The first thing I reach for...
The other reviewers are right on about this top: the side slits are a tad high, the neckline is a tad low, it runs a tad short, and it wrinkles if you let it cool in the dryer. But even with all those mini-problems, I am absolutely in love with this shirt and wear it constantly. The pattern reads as bright and cheery, but not so bright it's going to compete with your face for attention. VERY flattering. I wear it without a camisole at home on the weekends and just let a cute bra peek out here and there, but it definitely requires something more beneath for work. It goes with absolutely anything. And it's exactly the sort of (washable!) blouse that I can throw on when I'm running around with my kids and feel cute and completely appropriate (stains not a problem) at the same time. I paid full price (which I never do) and it was worth every penny. This plus skinnies plus ankle boots and you're good to go!

    Pretty Pattern
Contrary to other reviewers i feel the arm size is perfect, if not a bit large. I wear this top tucked in, and it does wrinkle at the bottom where it's tucked as the other reviewer complained, but since it's tucked you can't see that anyways. Wrinkling on the rest of the top during the day is not an issue. Also I don't see what people are saying about the back hem being cut abnormally shorter than the front? Mine does not have this issue at all. However there are very deep slits on the sides that do make tucking difficult because they go above the belt line about an inch. In agreement with others the fall leaf floral pattern is really stinkin' cute! It is cut very deep in the neck and I wear with a colorful tank otherwise it's guaranteed to flash people. Also the tank helps skin not show on the sides in that inch above the belt line where the side slits go up too far. The rayon makes this really flowy and soft. :) fits TTS

    Lovely shirt-runs small though!
I saw the Llama's in my local anthro today, and being a lover of animal print tops, I had to have it. I have found the Maeve tops this season are running a little smaller than normal. I am a 36C, 5'8" and usually wear a 6 or 8 in all anthro tops. I tried the 8, and it seemed a bit too fitted for the style of the top, (which I think was styled on the model as a bit looser fit) so I ended up sizing up to a 12. I was shocked, but the length is better, and it's not too tight on the arms, nor does it pull across the chest. Don't be afraid of the larger size when you size up in this top- it's worth it if you love it!

    LOVE this top!
I tried this on in a regular size 2 and a regular size 4. For reference, I am 5'1'' and 118 lbs and usually a size 2 in tops. I ended up sizing up to a size 4, so I'd say it runs small. The size 2 was pulling at the chest, which was surprising to me, since I am not large-busted. It was also very tight in the arms. So, girls with larger arms or busts will definitely want to size up. The top is very feminine. Despite it having a loose shape, it is very flattering. I love all the ruffles and the mix of lace and floral. The top is slightly longer in the back than in the front and has some added ruffle-like detailing in the back, which I found flattering. The top hit me at the top of my thighs in the front, which was fine. Overall, the top does not seem as boxy as pictured. The fabric is soft- and the top is machine-washable! The shirt has sheer lace panels, so for work I will definitely be wearing a cami. However, the panels are subtle, and, for a night out or dinner with friends, you can get away with not wearing a cami underneath. Overall, this was an immediate purchase for me.

    very flattering, runs small
I'm petite, 32DD, usually size 4, but based on the reviews I ordered this in 6P. I'm glad I did, because even the 6P has a close fit in the bust and arms. The neck is quite a bit lower than shown on the model, but not so low that it shows cleavage or your bra. I did find that it gapped a bit between the first two buttons, but I can either pin it or wear the first button unbuttoned. Sometimes looser tops like this can made me look pregnant, but this one is very flattering. The length is perfect in the front, and the back is a bit longer, but not an extreme hi-low hem. It's really quite versatile - it can be worn on its own in warm weather, under a cardi or jacket, or even tucked into a skirt or high-waisted pants. The lace trim is a nice touch also. If you have a larger bust, shoulders or arms, or just want a more relaxed fit, I'd recommend going up a size.

    Pictures don't do it justice...
This top is perfection! The details, the quality and the fit are all excellent! For reference I'm 5'3, 113 lbs and took my usual size 0. Like other reviews mention, the colors are more vivid in person, the neckline is a tad lower, but flattering, on me than the model, the cuffs have buttons, there are also buttons down the middle covered by a placket, crochet, not lace, details on the front and bottom of the top and the back hangs lower than the front. This is the type of quality and uniqueness I miss from Anthropologie! I'm very happy with my purchase.

    Beautiful Colors
I fell in love with the coloring in this blouse and couldn't wait to get it home. The colors are as vivid in person as they are in the photos. The front and sleeves are a blouse material and the back is more like nice t-shirt material, making it even more unique. No quality issues with this at all though. I would typically take a medium petite in this, which is what I ordered, but the petite size emphasized my stomach in the wrong way, so I exchanged it for a regular medium, which I kept. For reference, I am 5'3", 36C, and curvy. I have worn this with the sleeves up and down and it works well either way. Very pleased with this purchase even though I wish it was lined rather than needing a camisole..

    so lovely
I think it should be said that Anthro may need a new photographer. Or stylist. Or something. These photos are not depicting what the items really look like, and I think this top should be photographed on a brunette, or at least someone not so fair. I would never have looked at this top online. It looks so bad on the modelcompared to real life. I usually take a small in Tiny tops, but I took the xs in this one. For reference, I'm 5'7", 117, 34C, so sometimes the xs tops are a little tight, but this is incredibly flattering. It's low so I'll wear a cami, but the easy fit is so flattering, I can't wait to wear it. And the price is fabulous.

    Such a pretty blouse
Every time I wear this blouse I get compliments. It's lightweight and comfortable. You can dress it up or down. The back is a jersey fabric and the front is silk. Great combination.

    Lovely blouse, wonderfully feminine silhouette!
This top is fantastic! I purchased the cream color with the black polar bears and it is such a fun print, but also the loveliest fitting blouse. Overall, it runs true to size, but if anything, it is a little tight in the chest area, so I would size up if you typically have a full chest. I am usually a size 6 or 8, so I went with the 8 for that reason. I just purchased a second one, the black with flowers, because it is so great. I will probably buy more as well. Definitely recommend this top!

    In love with this top!!
I bought this top online and was a little hesitant due to the reviews about whether or not it runs small. I bought the black one and the blue and reds are so vibrant and colorful. I am usually a 12/14 top due to some shirts having sleeves that are too tight. I ordered this one size up and it fits perfect the material is flowy and light but not cheap. It does pull a little in the chest area so if you are a little busty I would most certainly order this a size up.

    Very pretty
I received this top yesterday, and I while I wish it would cut in at the waist for some definition, I still like it anyway. It does have a bit of an a-line shape, which is my next favorite shape on an hour glass figure. For some reason, I received two, and the other was straighter. That worked better for my mom, who immediately snapped it up. She is smaller on bottom, so the straight sides worked fine for her.

    Pretty Look
Thanks to the previous reviews I purchased 1 size down from my usual Anthro size. (Wear size 8, bought size 6) The size 6 fits perfectly. It is a boxy style blouse, but it is long enough that I can tuck it in (as shown on the model). The blouse has a pretty and festive look. Even after the holidays, I would be able to wear this when going out for dinner, etc. The quality is not as I expected for a "velvet burnout, silk fabric" top. I had to check the label as I could have sworn this top was polyester when I felt it. However, the label states 70% silk, 30% metallic. The metallic is nylon. The top is lined in 100% polyester. The lace sleeves feel like cheap lace, but it looks pretty. When I tried on the blouse, I also noticed a few black threads hanging near the center lace inset. I thought perhaps there was a snag, but thankfully no; just loose threads. The colors in the blouse are beautiful (peach, gold and bronze/tan) which adds to the versatility when coordinating with an outfit. After looking at the receipt with sales tax and shipping charges added, I still feel the blouse is a little overpriced even at the sale price. But again, the blouse has a pretty and festive look. A higher quality fabric would have made this an even more beautiful blouse.

    Perfect for holiday, overpriced
Top is lovely, lined, but thought workmanship and quality was average. Great top to wear during holiday season as gold lace sleeves add pizazz and look great against my brown skin. Fit is a little boxy, but not overly. I think a shaping dart or two in the back would improve the overall look and make it a 5 star top Can be worn casually with denim, pumps or boots with a cardi for warmth. Can be worn tucked in pencil skirt or with black or tan pants. Quality was average and as a result, top is overpriced. Sale would make it more appealing buy since season to wear is limited. Not sure if keeping as I bought the Emberglow Blouse and while slightly more boxy as well, quality is excellent for the same price. I'm pear shaped 143# 5'7" 34c narrow shoulders.

    Love this top!
I bought this top for a work party and I have found excuses to wear it all the time now. I have the blue which is a really bright and vibrant hue. I wear a cami underneath just incase the middle part is a little see through... I don't think it is because there is a backing to it, but I did catch a few glimpses of my bra so I put the cami on. I am 5'2" , 32B and I usually wear a 0P or 2P... in this case I had to order a 00P because the top was so huge and boxy. The 00P also fits better lengthwise. Happy I bought this and would recommend to a friend, I would just size down.

    Very elegant
I love the rich colors of this blouse-- I tried on the royal blue. Although it is 100% poly, it's high-quality, I thought it was silk. Although I have sometimes had to size down with Maeve designs, my regular size 6 worked better than the 4; which gaped between buttons at the upper chest level; for ref. 5'8", 135 lbs, 34-B. The lace is solid and adds a beautiful vertical dance to the whole piece.

    Crescent Street Button-down
Ordered this blouse in blue after trying on and seeing the red in store. The red is quite dull, but the blue is beautiful. I went a size up with this shirt due to the tightness of the sleeves. I usually wear a 0 in Maeve shirts, but bought the 2 and it is much more comfortable. Overall, I am happy with this purchase.

beautiful lace and eyelet peasant top
I bought this beautiful lace top in my usual size large. I agree with the previous reviewer about the A-line pregnant shape, but I loved it so much I turned it inside out and took it in on the sides. It was very easy if you can use a sewing machine. I just followed the design of the lace and started at the armpit on the stitching and angled it down to the hem about 1 1/2 " or so wide. It looks great and was an easy solution. I also would like to say I love the 3/4 length sleeves and I wore this with the HeiHei fur collar bronze military vest, a black cami, and skinny jeans tucked into black lizard cowboy boots.

    It runs large
I just saw it online and today I tried it in the store. The fabric and quality is not too bad, beautiful details. But it really runs large. Usually l just wear small. But for this one, I need to size down. I will find a tailor to modify it later.

    Beautiful timeless and flattering
This top is gorgeous!, great for all seasons (layer in winter and airy for summer). a bit more sheer than expected but nothing a black bra/cami cannot fix. Perfect with everything! Highly recommend, I love everything by this designer, Fleur Wood, wish Anthro would cary more of her pieces.
