Official Rules

NO PURCHASE NECESSARY TO ENTER OR WIN. A PURCHASE WILL NOT IMPROVE YOUR CHANCES OF WINNING. ALL FEDERAL, STATE, LOCAL, AND MUNICIPAL LAWS AND REGULATIONS APPLY. VOID OUTSIDE THE FORTY-EIGHT (48) CONTINENTAL UNITED STATES AND THE DISTRICT OF COLUMBIA, AND WHERE PROHIBITED.

Participation constitutes entrant's full and unconditional agreement to and acceptance of these Official Rules. The "The Ultimate Outdoor Spread" Contest (the "Contest") begins at 10:00 a.m. Eastern Time ("ET") on May 22nd, 2014 and ends at 11:59 p.m. ET on May 30th, 2014 ("Contest Period"), during which time all entries must be received. Eastern Time shall control for all purposes of this Contest. Sponsor's clock shall be the official time-keeping device for all purposes of this Contest.

SPONSOR: This Contest is sponsored by Anthropologie, 5000 South Broad St., Philadelphia, PA 19112 ("Sponsor").

  1. ELIGIBILITY:Contest is open and offered only to legal residents of the forty-eight (48) continental United States and the District of Columbia, who are at least eighteen (18) years of age or the age of majority in their respective states of permanent residence, whichever is greater, as of May 22nd, 2014. Employees, officers, and directors of Sponsor, and its parents, subsidiaries, affiliates, distributors, sales representatives, advertising and promotional agencies, any other persons or entities involved in the development and/or administration of this Contest, and the immediate family members (parent, child, sibling or spouse) and/or household members (whether related or not) of such employees, officers, and directors, are ineligible to enter or win. In order to enter the Contest or receive a prize, you must fully comply with these Official Rules and, by participating, you agree to abide by and be bound by these Official Rules and the decisions of the Sponsor and Sponsor-designated judges, whose decisions shall be binding and final in all respects relating to this Contest. Void outside the forty-eight (48) continental United States and the District of Columbia and where prohibited by law.

  2. HOW TO ENTER: You must join Pinterest® to participate in the Contest. Pinterest® is free to join. During the Contest Period, you may enter by (1) visiting www.anthropologie.com/contests and following the onscreen instructions to complete and submit the online Contest entry form, which includes providing your email address, and date of birth, along with the optional consent to receive emails from Anthropologie regarding promotional offers and product information (all requested information must be provided); (2) creating a pinboard on Pinterest® that meets the requirements stated below. PINBOARD MUST:

    • Include any number of images from any website that reflects the entrant's outdoor entertaining taste, wishes, wants and inspiration;

    • Hashtag each of your pins with: "#Anthropologie" and "#PinToWin" in everything you pin so that we may find your entries in the search results.

    • Have a custom board title.

  3. PINNED IMAGES MUST NOT:

    • Contain material which is (or promote activities which are) in Sponsor's sole discretion, hateful, slanderous, libelous, tortious, sexually explicit, obscene, pornographic, inappropriate, violent, self-mutilating (e.g., relating to murder, the sales of weapons, cruelty, abuse, etc.), discriminatory (based on race, sex, religion, natural origin, physical disability, sexual orientation or age), illegal (e.g., underage drinking, substance abuse, computer hacking, etc.), offensive, threatening, profane, or harassing; or contain material that is threatening to any person, place, business, group or world peace; or contain words or symbols that are widely considered offensive to individuals of a certain race, ethnicity, religion, sexual orientation or socioeconomic group; or contain images, words or text portraying nudity, acts of violence, or acts that are or appear to be unlawful or dangerous or in violation of, or contrary to the laws or regulations in any state where the entry is created in their application.

    • Contain material that violates or infringes another's rights, including but not limited to material that violates privacy, publicity, or intellectual property rights, or that constitutes copyright infringement. Without limiting the foregoing, submissions must not include third party trademarks, logos, insignia, location signage, photographs, artwork, or sculptures, except those of Sponsor.

    • Include third parties, including but not limited to minors, celebrities and friends, who have not expressly authorized entrant to display their image or likeness on Pinterest® or otherwise use such images or likenesses in accordance with these Official Rules.

  4. LIMIT: one (1) entry per person, per email address, per Pinterest® account, regardless of the number of pinboards a person creates. Entries must be submitted by the entrant. Once submitted, entries cannot be deleted, canceled or modified. All entries must be received during the Contest Period, as defined above. Incomplete entries, or those containing incorrect information, will be voided. Proof of sending or submission will not be deemed to be proof of receipt by Sponsor. Sponsor reserves the right to disqualify any person that submits more than the maximum allowed entries. Normal Internet access, phone, and usage charges imposed by your online or phone service may apply. The person submitting the Contest entry must be the authorized account holder of the Pinterest® account associated with the entry, otherwise, the entry may be deemed void. In the event of a dispute over the identity of a potential winner, the entry will be declared made by the authorized account holder of the email address associated with the Pinterest® account, and potential winner may be required to provide identification sufficient to show that he/she is the authorized account holder of such email address. It is the sole responsibility of the entrant to notify the Sponsor in writing if the entrant changes his or her e-mail address during the Sweepstakes. All entries become the property of Sponsor when submitted and will not be acknowledged or returned to entrant.

  5. REPRESENTATIONS AND WARRANTIES/INDEMNIFICATION: Each person who enters this Contest represents and warrants that he/she will abide by and comply with Pinterest's Terms of Use and Acceptable Use Policy. Each entrant further represents and warrants that the images that the entrant posts on Pinterest® as part of his/her entry does not contain any material that would defame or otherwise violate or infringe upon the rights of any third party, including patents, copyrights, trademarks or rights of privacy or publicity, and will not violate any federal, state or local laws or ordinances. Sponsor reserves the right in its sole and unfettered discretion to disqualify any entry that it believes contains obscene, offensive or inappropriate content, that does not comply with these Official Rules or that is not consistent with the spirit or theme of the Contest. Each entrant hereby agrees to indemnify and hold Sponsor, and its parents, subsidiaries, affiliates, divisions, partners, representatives, agents, successors, assigns, employees, officers and directors harmless from and against any and all third party claims, actions or proceedings of any kind and from any and all damages, liabilities, costs and expenses relating to or arising out of (1) any breach or alleged breach of any of the warranties, representations or agreements of entrant hereunder; or (2) entrant's use of images on Pinterest® in connection with entrant's participation in this Contest.

  6. PRIZES: Three (3) Grand Prizes are available to be won. Each Grand Prize is $500 retail value of Anthropologie home items. Approximate retail value (?ARV?) of each prize package is $500; Total ARV of all prizes is $500. Anthropologie will ship the prize package to each of the Grand Prize Winners to an address provided by the winner within the continental United States. Each Grand Prize Winner will be issued an IRS Form 1099 for the retail value of the prize and is advised to seek independent counsel regarding the tax implications of prize winnings. All local, state and federal taxes are solely the responsibility of the Grand Prize Winner. No substitution, transfer or exchange of prize or election of cash in lieu of prize will be permitted. Prize is subject to availability and Sponsor reserves the right at its sole discretion to substitute any prize package with another prize of equal or greater value (or cash equivalent) in the event that the prize (or any component thereof) is not available.

    Each Contest entrant is eligible to win one (1) prize in the Contest. Each Grand Prize Winner must complete all documentation required by Sponsor to be eligible to receive the prize. If Grand Prize Winner does not take delivery of prize package by June 15, 2014 Grand Prize may be forfeited, at Sponsor's sole discretion, and may be awarded to an alternate Grand Prize Winner in accordance with these Official Rules. Sponsor will not replace any lost or stolen prizes. Sponsor is not responsible for delays in prize delivery beyond its control. All other expenses and items not specifically mentioned in these Official Rules are not included and are the Grand Prize Winner's sole responsibility. ARV of the prize may be subject to market fluctuation. In the event the stated ARV of a prize is more than the actual retail value of the prize at the time of award, the difference will not be awarded in cash or otherwise.

  7. WINNER SELECTION: : Each eligible entry (pinboard) will be reviewed by a panel of judges selected by Sponsor in its sole discretion. On or about June 2, 2014, the panel of Sponsor-designated judges will select three (3) potential Grand Prize Winners from among all eligible entries received, based upon creativity (50%) and composition (50%). Decisions of the judges are final and cannot be appealed.

  8. WINNER NOTIFICATION: On or about June 2, 2014, potential Grand Prize Winners will be notified by email and/or telephone, at Sponsor's discretion, using the information provided on potential winner's entry form. Grand Prize Winners (or such winner's parent/legal guardian if under the age of majority in winner's legal state of residence) will be required to sign an Affidavit of Eligibility and Liability/Publicity Release (where permitted by law) to be returned within fourteen (14) days of written notification, or prize may be forfeited and an alternate winner selected. If a prize notification is returned as unclaimed or undeliverable to a potential winner, if potential winner cannot be reached within three (3) calendar days from the first notification attempt, or if potential winner fails to return requisite document within the specified time period, or if a potential winner is not in compliance with these Official Rules, then such person shall be disqualified and, at Sponsor's sole discretion, an alternate winner may be selected for the prize at issue based on the winner selection process described above.

  9. GENERAL CONDITIONS: This Contest is subject to all applicable federal, state and local laws and regulations. Sponsor is not responsible for incorrect or inaccurate entry information, whether caused by any of the equipment or programming associated with or utilized in the Contest, or by any technical or human error, which may occur in the processing of the Contest entries. Sponsor is not responsible for interrupted or unavailable network server or other connections, miscommunications, failed telephone or computer transmissions or jumbled, scrambled or misdirected entries or transmissions, or for phone, electrical, network, computer hardware or software or program malfunctions, failures or difficulties or for other errors, omissions, interruptions, or deletions of any kind whether human, mechanical or electronic or for any damage to any person?s computer related to participating in the Contest.

  10. CAUTION: ANY ATTEMPT TO DELIBERATELY DAMAGE ANY WEB SITE OR UNDERMINE THE LEGITIMATE OPERATION OF THE CONTEST IS A VIOLATION OF CRIMINAL AND CIVIL LAWS. SHOULD SUCH AN ATTEMPT BE MADE, THE SPONSOR RESERVE THE RIGHT TO SEEK DAMAGES OR OTHER REMEDIES FROM ANY SUCH PERSON(S) RESPONSIBLE FOR THE ATTEMPT TO THE FULLEST EXTENT PERMITTED BY LAW. Sponsor reserves the right, in its sole discretion, to modify, cancel or suspend this Contest, and award the prizes in accordance with the winner selection process described above from among all eligible entries received as of such date should fraud, virus, bugs or other causes beyond the Sponsor?s control corrupt the administration, fairness, proper play or security of the Contest. Sponsor's failure to enforce any term of these Official Rules shall not constitute a waiver of that provision. Sponsor reserves the right at its sole discretion to disqualify any individual it finds to be attempting to tamper with or undermine the entry process, any web site associated with this Contest, and/or the legitimate operation of the Contest; to violate the Official Rules; or to act in an unsportsmanlike or disruptive manner or with the intent to annoy, abuse, threaten, or harass any other person. Sponsor and its agents are not responsible for (1) any incorrect or inaccurate information, whether caused by entrants, printing errors or by any of the equipment or programming associated with or utilized in the Contest; (2) technical failures of any kind, including, but not limited to malfunctions, interruptions, or disconnections in phone lines or network hardware or software; (3) unauthorized human intervention in any part of the entry process or the Contest; (4) technical or human error which may occur in the administration of the Contest or the processing of entries; or (5) any injury or damage to persons or property which may be caused, directly or indirectly, in whole or in part, from entrant's participation in the Contest or receipt or use or misuse of any prize.

  11. LIMITATIONS OF LIABILITY AND RELEASES: By accepting a prize, the Grand Prize Winners agree to release the Sponsor from any and all liability whatsoever for any injuries, losses, or damages of any kind caused by entering the Contest or for damages of any kind caused by any prize or resulting from acceptance, possession, or use/misuse of prize awarded. The Grand Prize Winner?s entry, and acceptance of the prize, constitutes the Grand Prize Winner's agreement and permission (except where prohibited by law) for Sponsor and any of their designees, to use, print, publish or broadcast, Grand Prize Winner's full name, city and state of residence, photographs, portrait, picture, voice, likeness and/or biographical information, worldwide and in perpetuity for any and all purposes, including, but not limited to, for advertising, trade and promotional purposes, in any and all forms of media, now known or hereafter devised, without further limitation, restriction, compensation, payment or additional consideration, and without review, approval or notification.

  12. IN NO EVENT WILL SPONSOR AND ITS PARENTS, AFFILIATES, SUBSIDIARIES, ADVERTISING AND PROMOTION AGENCIES, DEALERS, DISTRIBUTORS, SUPPLIERS, DIRECTORS, OFFICERS, EMPLOYEES, REPRESENTATIVES AND AGENTS BE RESPONSIBLE OR LIABLE FOR ANY DAMAGES OR LOSSES OF ANY KIND (INCLUDING WITHOUT LIMITATION, DIRECT, INDIRECT, INCIDENTAL, CONSEQUENTIAL, OR PUNITIVE DAMAGES) ARISING OUT OF PARTICIPATION IN THIS CONTEST OR THE ACCEPTANCE, POSSESSION, USE, OR MISUSE OF, OR ANY HARM RESULTING FROM THE ACCEPTANCE, POSSESSION, USE OR MISUSE OF THE PRIZES. By participating, entrants release and agree to hold harmless the Sponsor, and their respective parents, affiliates, subsidiaries, directors, officers, employees, representatives, agents, advertising and promotion agencies, dealers, distributors, and suppliers, from any and all liability for any injuries, death or losses or damages to persons or property AS WELL AS CLAIMS/ACTIONS BASED ON PUBLICITY RIGHTS, DEFAMATION, AND/OR INVASION OF PRIVACY that may arise from participating in this Contest or its related activities or the acceptance, possession, use or misuse of, or any harm resulting from the acceptance, possession, use or misuse of the prize(s).

  13. DISPUTES/GOVERNING LAW: All issues and questions concerning the construction, validity, interpretation and enforceability of these Official Rules, or the rights and obligations of the entrants and Sponsor in connection with the Contest, shall be governed by, and construed in accordance with the laws of the Commonwealth of Pennsylvania without giving effect to any choice of law or conflict of law rules or provisions that would cause the application of the laws of any jurisdiction other than the Commonwealth of Pennsylvania. Any legal proceedings arising out of this Contest or relating to these Official Rules shall be instituted only in the federal or state courts located in the Commonwealth of Pennsylvania, and the parties consent to jurisdiction therein with respect to any legal proceedings or disputes of whatever nature arising under or relating to these rules and/or this Contest. The invalidity or unenforceability of any provision of these rules shall not affect the validity or enforceability of any other provision. In the event that any provision is determined to be invalid or otherwise unenforceable or illegal, these rules shall otherwise remain in effect and be construed in accordance with their terms as if the invalid or illegal provision were not contained herein.

  14. USE OF DATA: Any personally identifiable information collected during an entrant's participation in this Contest will be collected by Sponsor and used by Sponsor, and its parents, subsidiaries, affiliates, agents and marketers for purposes of the proper administration and fulfillment of the Contest as described in these Official Rules. In addition, by entering entrants agree to Sponsor's use of entrant's personal information as described in Sponsor's Privacy Policy, which is found at http://www.anthropologie.com/anthro/help/privacy_security.jsp. Sponsor?s Privacy Policy may be updated from time to time without notice. Sponsor may use entrants? information to send them marketing communications regarding promotional offers and product information.

  15. OFFICIAL RULES BY MAIL: For a copy of the Official Contest Rules, send a self-addressed stamped envelope to Anthropologie c/o Kelly Luciano 5000 South Broad St., Philadelphia, PA 19112, for receipt by June 15, 2014. Vermont residents may omit postage.

  16. WINNER LIST: To request the name and city/state of residence for the Grand Prize Winners, please send a self-addressed, stamped business size envelope, by June 15, 2014, to: Anthropologie c/o Kelly Luciano 5000 South Broad St., Philadelphia, PA 19112.
