I am 6 months pregnant and just received a size 8 for the summer. I tried it on to see if it'd even go on, to get an idea of how it might fit after the birth. I have to say, I was pleasantly surprised:
I was able to get it over my belly and fully tied on. I think bikinis look better on pregnant women, but I bought it for after the birth. I am 5'5". Before getting pregnant, I was 125 pounds and a small C. Now I am 146 pounds and a large C. The size 8 fits snugly when fully stretched out in the middle. I think it will fit nicely this summer, when I anticipate being around 135 pounds and maybe a large C/small D.
I didn't realize the cups were padded, but it's actually fine/flattering. The boy shorts come down enough to make me feel very secure.
My only issue is the rope design isn't quite as sophisticated in person. But the vertical stripes are very flattering, so I can get over it quickly!

so flattering! LOVE!
i have never written a review before -- but i felt compelled because I LOVE THIS BATHING SUIT! got it in the mail yesterday, slipped it on -- and i think it was the first time in my adult life that i actually LIKED the way i looked in a bathing suit. came back on anthro website today to get the floral one, too. have not worn it i the water yet -- it's possible the chest is a little big and might sag in the water -- but i don't care cuz it's so darn cute :). i'm 5 ft 7.5 in, 118 lbs - and i got the size 4 - body and legs of suit fit well.

Perfect if you don't have big boobs
I just received it and i have to say i am a bit disappointed. I am 5ft. 4 and 150lbs, i ordered a 10. It fits perfectly, except at the chest. I am a 36DD and i am so upset because this bathing suit has no support for big boobs. I am afraid they will come out everytime i jump in the pool and i really don't want to worry about it. So, i don't know if i'll keep it or send it back. I thought at this price and because of the comments, i'd have a good support and everything, but i'm not sure it's worth the money i spent. It's not because of the suit itself, more like my breast.
Also, last thing that i don,t really like is the back. It looks a bit awkward with the seam in the middle.
I just received this today and could not be more happy! I was wary about ordering a bathing suit on-line, but thanks to the other reviews on the other Boyleg Maillot's, I was able to guess correctly that I would need the size 6. It is very flattering and hides my not so flat tummy. It is also helpful in the chest dept. and boosts my 34B's nicely :) I also love the boyleg cut! The color and print are even cuter in person. I am blonde and pale and it still looks good without a tan. My new favorite and worth every penny!

I just turned 36, and I have NEVER loved a suit as much as I love this one!! Because I have a long torso, small on the top, and medium on the bottom, I have never been able to find a one-piece suit that fits me..UNTIL now! This suit is so flattering, and very high quality. It really is everything I had ever hoped for in a suit!!
I am 5'5 and around 130 lbs and a bit pear shaped. I ordered a medium. I was thinking of ordering a large but after properly measuring myself, I fit in the medium category, and these are definitely true to size! Measure yourself and order what you are or else you might be disappointed.
I usually have a very difficult time finding a bathing suit so I was a bit skeptical about ordering one online without even trying it on. Once it arrived, I tried it on and it fits GREAT! I'm so happy with it. The v-neck cut ends at the perfect spot and is not too revealing. This bathing suit also covers my tush perfectly. It has yet to rise up and make me uncomfortable in that area. I was worried that the lace might feel itchy against my skin but I barely even feel it. This suit is great.
My only concern is that the cup inserts for the breasts are a bit weird. They are too small for the area and move around inside the bathing suit. I wish they were bigger or sewn into place. Maybe it's just a norm for bathing suits? I'm not sure. But it's not even a huge deal and no one will even notice I'm sure. I really love this suit, it's beautiful and the lace is just gorgeous.

I was so excited to try on a one piece that actually wasn't too tight! I am 6'0 and this swimsuit fit perfectly without stretching anywhere! It feels super soft and is a flattering shape, covers enough while still being somewhat sexy. I have an athletic shape so always looking for bottoms that actually cover my rear end, and this did a decent job. I look forward to wearing it in the summer.
This suit is gorgeous! The colors are bright & fun, & it looks great with a tan. I am 5'4", a 36B, size 27 in jeans. I have broad shoulders and an athletic physique. I purchased the medium. It fits beautifully & is extremely flattering. It makes "the girls" look very nice & the cut of the suit and strategic seams minimize the waist. The coverage in the bum is comfortable & does not ride up. The bra cups have removable liners. The ends of the straps have tassels made of tiny gold chains & little multi-colored beads, & can be easily removed. I think this suit would be flattering on just about anyone! It is worth the price to feel confident all summer!

Love this one piece. So beautiful. Great material. Fits perfectly true to size. Cannot wait to wear in Barbados in a few weeks.
I love love love this bathing suit and cant wait to wear it this week on my Caribbean trip. and for many more warm weather beach type outings in the future. I am 5/1" tall and 115lbs with short torso and like the first reviewer said, this bathing suit works well on someone who is petite with short torso like me! I am petite so I got the petite medium and it fit well!
I love the style, black and white pattern and especially the band across the tummy. This works well for me as I have found the band gives one the illusion of a defined thinner waist. So anytime I see a bathing suit with this "BAND ACROSS THE TUMMY" and especially in black against a pattern, I GRAB IT AT ANY COST! At my age (67 yrs) it is not easy to find bathing suits that are simple, stylish yet elegant and classic. Most bathing suits tend to be either too matronly/frumpy/boring or if they are interesting, they tend to be too revealing/risque for my age.
If this looks good on me, I would think this bathing suit would look sensational on anyone younger!
This workmanship, quality of the fabric ( totally lined) with good padded bra support makes this a real winner.
Thank you, Anthropologie for offering such a stunning, interesting bathing suit for both young and 'no longer young'!!! Please offer more with 'band across the waistline again in another design..................!..

Such a cute suit, but better for small torso.
I love this suit, however after thinking long and hard I am planning on exchanging it. There is a large amount of fabric on the top half, and yet my chest does not feel supported and I feel like there might be a wardrobe malfunction. The strap is also very thick and presses out the fabric under the neck, so it is twice as thick in that area. The pattern is so great and I love the folds, but it did not fit well on my body type. I am 5'9, 135 lbs 34B and ordered a medium. Would be perfect if the torso was a little longer and the fabric was not so thick up towards the top. I am sure shorter/tinier people will look great in it!
I was looking for a flattering one piece swimsuit, and this is it! The purple and peach colors in the suit are much brighter in person, but still very nice. The most flattering parts, to me, are the slight ruching on the stomach and the padded cups (work well for a small bust). The coverage on the butt is not too much or too little. It is a pricey swim suit, but the quality is there!
While I went back and forth for a few weeks on purchasing this suit, I am so glad I did. The blue is absolutely gorgeous and the material is very high quality. When I tried it one, the fit was true and the suit covered all of my little flaws while accentuating my best features.
If you are are looking for a classic suit, this is one to go with.
