    Stylish & comfortable casual dress
This dress is so cute on and very flattering. Love the neckline and the lace is a fun detail. I bought the moss and it's a beautiful, rich color. The wine looks a little more berry in person than the online pictures appear. I am usually a medium but sometimes a large in Anthro brands. I tried the small and medium in this dress. At first I thought the small looked best because the bottom part was a little less voluminous, but tried the medium because I have large shoulders and the small was a bit tight under the arms. Loved the medium. Voluminous in the lower half, but it has a nice nip in the middle that keeps it swingy instead of tent-like. I have a thinner torso and larger legs, so this line is very flattering for my legs. I also loved the length - it's longer than most dresses of this type, which I appreciated - minis are not my best look. Most flattering on small to medium breasted women. Great with tall boots, booties, leggings & flats. And it's REALLY soft - it feels like wearing a nightgown!

Wow! So warm, yet swingy, and lightweight.
I love this dress! If I didn’t know better, I’d think I’m wearing pajamas to the office. Seriously though, this is a high-quality piece. From the stitching to the design, fit and texture of the fabric, much effort went into executing this really comfortable tunic. The wine isn’t as vibrant in person as online, but it is still lovely and oh, sooooo comfortable. Did I mention comfortable? Lastly, it does run large. In tops and sweaters at Anthro, I usually wear an XL across the board (some L), but an XL in this dress would be just too much. I’m an athletic, but curvy build. I wear between a 12W and 14W with a 38D bust and the dress rocks on me in size L. As is, it is still shapely, but has a nice tunic feel. Wearing with tall black boots and wine tights. Work appropriate, but warm. Btw: If you want to utilize the pockets, use a seam ripper to open up access as they come stiched closed. Love the pockets, too! Buying the moss as soon as I can get my hands on it.

This dress doesn't look like much on a hanger, but it looks great on! I purchased it in the moss color. It's made of a heavy, jersey material that drapes beautifully! I wore it with high boots, as pictured on the model, and I felt like a million bucks! Perfect for those cool, sunny days. I bought a a size small, I'm 5'4" and 135 lbs.

    Cute Transitional Piece
This is a great transitional piece for the changing weather. It's a light shirt dress that can easily be accessorized for the varying weather of the next following months. The colors are vibrant and I love the design. I found tried on the XXSP which fit true to size except through the chest where it puckered due to being too small (see photo). I would have tried the PXS, but unfortunately, Rockefeller Center had sold out. Also, this dress is very short in the petite size so I am waiting on the regular XS I ordered to arrive to see if it fixes both problems. Some cons: I really love the idea of this dress, but due to my straight waist and larger ribcage, I don't know if it is the most flattering piece for my body type. Also, the price point is a bit high for such a simple dress. Also, the belt is reminiscent of a sparkly cheap silver shoelace. Not a good look so another belt would be needed if you choose to accessorize with one. Though I do love the design, I don't know if I would pay full price for this one, but it is going fast in the stores and online, so I may be in the minority.

    Wonderful, comfy dress
Because of the reviews regarding size I was a little timid about ordering online since it wasn't available in any of my nearby stores. On a leap of faith I ordered a "small". I received a petite small #normally my size, but again, reviews said it runs small#. It fits like a glove #I'm 5', 32DDD bust, short torso, small waist, long legs for my height#. It hits just above my knees and although I'm 55 years old I don't feel it's too short, and it plays down my bust, which I LOVE. Every time I wear it I get so many compliments. The material wasn't at all what I imagined #gauze#, but I love the actual material #jersey knit#. So comfortable!

    Rich Winter Warmth
I adore Anthro's selection of sweater dresses this season. Here is yet another winner. My usual XXSP runs TTS and fits my 5'0" frame exactly as pictured. The turquoise color is a lovely, rich, quintessentially Fall "mallard" blue-green. The dress gently conforms to the body while leaving room for layers and secures with a quality zipper and hook-and-eye closure in back. The raised seaming down the center and around the patch pockets lends character to an otherwise simple silhouette. The boiled wool is substantial yet light, though unfortunately unlined and more itchy than I'd prefer... I do fear this dress might stretch out, as boiled wool can do when it isn't anchored by a layer of lining. Even so, I believe this dress is worth the price. It's versatile and classic. Mine will remain a cool-weather staple for years to come, and the outfit possibilities will make it new again each time I wear it.

    Love this jumper!
I love this jumper in the wine color, and the regular small worked best for me. I am petite, and I like my dresses and skirts to fall just above the knee. I also didn't want a snug fitting jumper so I stayed away from petite. I am wearing it now, with a colorful buttondown blouse underneath, and a groovy pair of black boots.. You can play around with this piece. I love it.

    The Color!
I purchased the red online and I'm so happy I did, absolutely love the color. The material doesn't feel like boiled wool at all, because it is so lightweight and stretchy like a sweater. The cut is very forgiving and falls above the knee and not too short which is nice. Very cute with tights and a long sleeve top underneath. I may go back for the blue one! Note the hem is cut higher in front and lower in the back which isn't obvious in the model photo but much more visible in person. Love love that this dress has pockets! (for reference I am 5'6", 135) the size S fits perfect! This will be a favorite for years to come. Great find!

    Cute Dress!
I tried this on in a regular size zero, which was quite my mistake, as I am usually a regular size 4 and thought I had grabbed that size. I'd say this runs big, as I was able to zip up the size zero without an issues, though I would probably size up to purchase. For reference, I am 5'1' and 118 lbs and usually a 4P or SP. The dress fell a couple of inches above my knees, which I thought was flattering. The shoulders fell a little off the shoulder for me- sleeves like this sometimes drive me crazy as I keep wanting to pull them up to cover my shoulders. The top portion of the dress has a leotard look to it, which I like. As other reviewers have mentioned, it is a bit short-waisted. I thought the overall look was flattering, as the skirt has a bit of an A-line shape to it. The fabric is soft and has a good weight to it. Overall, I definitely think it is worth the price tag.

    great fall dress
i bought the two summer versions of this dress and i loved them, but the scoop neck is a little low and occasionally my bra shows. i bought this dress because everything else was great about the others. and this one is close to perfect. the ballet scoop neck line looks so elegant, and not too low. the skirt hits at the smallest part of my waist and falls nicely….not to straight, not to flowly. hits above the knee on me (5'5), in the same place it hits the model. and the skirt has all of the lovely deep colors pictured. i also enjoy the stretch fabric. again, not too heavy but not too flowy. i am smaller on top, larger on bottom. 34A, 27 waist, 37 hips, 5'5, 127 lbs. 0 fits me perfectly…. the arms are slightly tight when i put them on, but the fabric stretches and is comfortable. my only complaint is that i cannot buy another in a different pattern.

I've never felt compelled to leave a review before
...but this dress is so perfect. I purchased it to wear ay a casual wedding about a month ago and got so many compliments. Since then, it's my go-to when I want to feel extra good! It looks a little blah here on the model compared to how well it fits and flatters in person. That much pattern on the skirt part is outside of my normal aesthetic, but it's really pretty. The neckline is super flattering on a larger chest and the skirt part is just at the perfect slightly high waisted point. I'm a 34D, ~140 pounds. I just can't say enough about how flattering this dress is.

    Amazing!
I ordered both this dress and the Larksong Dress hoping one of me would fit. Both dresses fit, but this dress own hands down. The cut is perfect - very feminine and with beautiful lines that flatters my hourglass figure. I too one size up than I normally take, but I find Tracy Reese a little on the small side, so I think this is more tts for this brand. The colors are amazingly vivid and the material is beautiful. I originally thought it was a knit, but I was delighted to discover than it's a very light woven material that drapes very nicely. I bought the regular instead of the petite - in retrospect, I think the petite would have worked better for my height but I was worried that the petite would be too high waisted for me. The regular is a little too long, so I will have to shorten this. I am debating about having the crinoline removed. Although it adds to the princess effect, I think it's a bit too much for my size...this is a beautiful dress that I can see wearing to many occasions....very happy!

    Compliments all day long!
I am so happy with this dress! It is well made and I love the style of it. I wore it to work and didn't stop getting compliments all day long. It would be nice enough to wear out for special occasions too. In New Zealand I usually buy size 8 tops and 10 bottoms. For dresses I buy size 8 for a style that comes in at the waist and then goes out (I can't buy ones off the rack that have pencil/fitted skirts on them as they are too tight over my hips. I have a small waist so like dresses that are the "fit and flare" style). I was a bit nervous about the conversion to US sizing, but ordered a size 4 and it is perfect. The quality is great and I love the colours in the fabric.

    Cuter in person
The fit is very flattering. I'm usually a true size 10 and have put on a few pounds, but the 10 fit perfectly. The skirt of the dress has a little crinoline in it which adds a little poof, but a fabulous subtle poof instead of a costume-like poof. Length was perfect for me, right at the top of the knees. It showed a tiny bit of cleavage but didn't make me uncomfortable. The print doesn't look that impressive online but in person it's very fun--it looks like an impressionist painting, and would be great for a party. I wore mine to a nighttime wedding with a little black cardigan and need to find another party to be invited to so I can wear it again.

    The possibilities are endless!
This dress is absolutely adorable! I purchased my usual size, XS, and find that it fits totally TTS for me. I will also note that I am very small-chested (34A) and this fit perfectly in the bust. If you are any bigger than me, you may want to size up or else you will probably get that dreaded pulling and gaping that sometimes happens with buttons. I was wearing a pair of jeggings when I tried this on and feel that it looked great! You could also wear with tights, leggings, or even with a nude leg if you're in a climate that allows for that. The color possibilities are very diverse, and I know that this sweet little dress is going to see plenty of wear from me.

    Perfect for a pear shape
This dress is adorable. The print is vibrant, the cut is forgiving on a pear shape, it's very comfortable, and the sleeves have a great drape to them that makes it feel different from a lot of dresses out there. Great "throw on" casual dress!

    Great dress :-)
I tried this dress in an XS and S and ended up purchasing in a XS. I'm usually a S/2-4 in Maeve…but could size down in this one without compromising the length. It hit me right above my knee in the reg. sizing. Loooove all the colors and the smocking is great for fitting a lot of body types. I found the shoulders to be too big on the S. This is a 3 season dress for me..looking forward to wearing it a few different ways! (5'3..122..34C smaller shouldered/framed) **Oh.. and there are pockets!)

    Great Go To Dress
This a great dress for day or night! It's a little longer than the average tunic, so I wear it as a dress with tights and boots. I've worn it both to work and out for a night on the town, so it's a great take on the LBD. The stretchy fabric is very flattering. I did have to buy the XL, which was the only size left when I bought this, and I found it fit ok, which not my usual size (I usually wear a M or L) so it runs small. Wear it with a pendant necklace to dress it up. Very comfortable!

    a classic great look
I spotted this LBD hanging on display in the fitting room yesterday in the small, my usual size. I don't need another dress, but it had that classic simple look that appealed to me. It is pullover style, the top part is very stretchy & the dress is lined. Once I got it on & had the lining in place it was just perfect! At 5'3", 119#, it falls about 2" above the knee. I usually have a problem w/ dresses too long or short, but this is just right! Also, it did not feel tight or restrictive at all. Of course I'll wear w/ boots or booties & some sheer dark stockings. Can't wait to wear it!

Very versatile, classic dress, but runs small
I bought this dress to wear when hosting Thanksgiving, and I love it. It can be dressed up for date nights and special occasions or dressed down for the weekend. It does, however, run small. I am 5'2', 110 lbs and always an extra small in Anthro brands. I never size up, even when reviews say to do so. I sized up here because my normal size was on back order, and I am glad I did. The shoulders on this run pretty narrow. Also, while I probably could have gone with the extra small, this is pretty clingy, and I am glad to have the extra breathing room.
