    Perfection…and, yes, size down.
This dress fit me like a glove. I'm not alone, either - check out the rave reviews posted by women of all ages, shapes and sizes! I am 5'4", 125 pounds, 34D, very short-waisted and athletic but curvy. I am normally a size 6, but finally settled on the size 4 regular after trying the 6P. It hits about 2-3 inches below my knees, which is both flattering and a pleasant alternative to my other dresses, which are either mini or full-length. The smaller size just feels better and I think the closer fit helps the lace detail pop a bit more. The nude colored slip/lining also alleviated any modesty issues I had with respect to the "peekaboo" detailing throughout the bodice. It might look like you're showing a lot of skin, but it certainly doesn't feel like it once you're wearing it. It's classy and it's sexy, which is usually more than you can ask of a dress at this price point. Bonus: my flesh-colored bra is virtually undetectable, which is key given my cup size and the fact that I have 2 young kids.

    beautiful feminine LBD
A classy feminine twist on the LBD , form fitting enough to be sexy. I'm 5' tall, 90 lbs , fairly straight built and ordered the 00 petite, fits perfectly. It's a straight fitting dress, so there's not much give in the hips. As in the picture, the lace bodice and boat neckline are beautiful and flattering. and looks great with a pair of chandelier earrings and high patent slings. This dress is extremely well-crafted for its price, sewn in the league of designer wear. If I had one small criticism: the front (and back) black panels are slightly stiff, so doesn't fold nicely with sitting and doesn't fall smoothly after standing up. I might just have to remain standing at all the events! Still, it's not a deal breaker and I would definitely recommend this dress for the price.

Loved it, but it had to go back
I loved this dress instantly online and was pleased with the quality and it fit well. I needed something for a specific function though, and even though the lace peekaboo is an illusion, it felt too risque for my need. Additionally, although it fit well, I felt like it made me look a little frumpy. The tiny hooks were also a little problematic for me - tended to open up.

Bold color, bold design, TURNS HEADS!
I'm seeing an older man and as soon as I walked out in this he said, "STUNNING!'. When I say older man, I mean the type of sophisticated gentleman who is urbane and observes cocktail hour, a man who notices every detail, and if it passes his litmus test so effortlessly, my goodness, I may wear it everyday! I love the fabric, as always soft, just about wrinkle resisted, flows. The design on the fabric is played out perfectly to flatter any woman, and the for the busty woman, there's no need for a cami, they've got your cleavage covered, literally. The back is cut low, too, which is really nice (said older gentleman pointed that out, he said, 'it may just be me, and that I'm a swimmer, but the low back is a real turn on I think for men in general.') I can find nothing wrong with this dress, and well, everything right! In an effort to beg spring I wore this dress today, and I have OPI's Cajun Shrimp on my nails--HOLY COORDINATION (by accident)!

    In LOVE with this dress!
This dress is amazing! Yes, the price is high but it is WORTH it and you will feel like a million bucks wearing it. For reference, I'm 5'1", 118 lbs, average build, small (34A) chest. The XS Petite fits perfectly, with my flat sandals it just barely skims the floor. Coverage in the front doesn't gape, and so even when you bend over there is no sign of cleavage or bra (at least on me), the back as well doesn't come down so low that your bra is showing (though I think you could totally get away with not wearing a bra at all in this). The sleeves on me are true to the model; just barely a cap-sleeve over the shoulder. The fabric is amazing, not too light, not too heavy, and is just weighty enough to drape perfectly and move fluidly when you walk. The dress is lined from the empire waist to the knees with a navy blue slip (in the same fabric as the rest of the dress), in case that matters to anyone. The colors are bright and vibrant, and would look great on any skin tone. This will get a lot of wear from me, definitely worth the money!

Vibrant, Bright & Comfortable Summer Dress
I bought this for a wedding I am attending this summer. I wore it for some pictures, and I received many compliments to how beautiful it is! It fits and feels great. This will be in my closet for a long time to come! I am 6'1" and it is long enough for me!

    A masterpiece!
Why, oh WHY did this have to arrive just in time for Christmas? LOL I saw this astonishing dress just after my Carismma Sheath dress, in black, arrived. At first I thought this version was too close, but irl, it's in a class of it's own. You can barely tell from the photo, but the fabric on the bodice and skirt are different. The top has tiny circles with dots of red. The placket is also a different pattern, but instead of the hot mess I expected, the whole thing works to make you look like the most stunning creature in the room. Very, very flattering on most body types, but I'd dare say especially on the hourglass girl. This is the dress I would wear to dinner, to weddings, to business meetings with a jacket, to tea, to lunch with the girls, where wouldn't I wear this? Fit is tts, much like the Carismma sheath. I pray that it doesn't sell out before I can get my hands on one! Or, maybe, just maybe, it will show up under the tree!

    Gorgeous.
The dress is gorgeous and incredibly flattering. I've worn it several times and gotten many compliments - its a 3 season dress. Fits like a glove but very comfortable. Only bothersome thing is that found the die-cut sleeves catch on the lace/crochet that is under the arms and pills a bit. But since its a show-stopper of a dress, I overlook this. I'm 5'4" and 120 lbs - hourglass shape and bought the 2. I'm thin on top and small-waisted.

    Even better than I hoped!
I visited this dress many times on the website, hoping it would go on sale, but finally decided to bit the bullet and pay full price. Prior reviews listed its unique detail and surprises that made this dress a conversation piece (and why I love Anthropologie!) and it didn't disappoint! It is form fitting and sexy in a smart-girl way, but it also possesses an artistic/couture quality that renders it timeless. I am 5'6 and a 35" bust/128 lbs and went with the 4p, as I prefer the hem to hit me at or above the knee. The fabric has stretch, which allows it to fit to your body, not bulge and buckle as a stiff fabric would do. I also cut the belt loops and moved belt/ribbon down so it would hit my waist, as the petite waist was higher- no problem at all. I am SOOO happy I splurged and know this will be a 'go to' dress for years to come.

    Summery Go To
Such a perfect summer dress! I bought the neutral which was a surprise because with my olive skin tone I'm more drawn to the navy and peaches but I just fell in love with the neutral! I love the way the top of the dress hugs you. The material feels great against your skin and the fit is very flattering giving you a waist but having enough stretch not to cut in any weird places. The skirt is more of a linen-y and will wrinkle but it doesn't bother me because that is the look. Also it has a shimmery fabric will looks gorgeous in the sun. Planning on wearing it with a bright orange chunky beaded necklace and cream wedges. So excited!

    Lovely, but cumbersome to wash
This dress is flattering, comfy, and it looked great on me. My body type is similar to the model's in the photograph, and I don't mind that the skirt is prone to wrinkling -- I don't think it's supposed to be perfectly flat. Wash this with CAUTION. The label says to dry clean it, but honestly Anthro says to dry clean everything and 90% of the time it's not really necessary. I'm not made of money and these fabrics usually stand up to machine washing, so I machine washed it cold and line-dried it. The fabric looked perfect after this, BUT the top 'crosswrapped' part was completely untwisted, to the point that I could not figure out how to wrap it back up. I took it back to Anthro and they ended up exchanging it since no one on staff could figure out how to rewrap it correctly. So, if you want to machine wash, use safety pins to hold the top part together. Otherwise enjoy this great dress!

    Perfect Fit
This dress is awesome! It fits really well, thanks to the stretchy fabric up top and gathered fabric at the waist. I bought it in both colors, and prefer the navy/pink combo. The cream/gray is nice for toned down activities, but the navy/pink is a real attention grabber. If you're curvy on the bottom like me, this dress will look great on you!

    Can't wait to wear!
Loved this from the moment I saw it. I am slender, but curvy. I took a medium and a small in the dressing room with me as I can easily be either size. I tend to try on the larger size first, but when I held it up, it looked way too wide so I skipped it and went for the small. It fit me just like the model. So unlike many of the other reviews, I think this runs slightly large. From the front, the waist tucks in and creates a nice silhouette, but from the back, it's a little more "bag" like. Maybe it's not the most flattering in the world from the back, but I don't mind it and I wear what I like and don't think about what others might say. It felt very comfortable. It is on the shorter side, but I can still pull it off for my office job. Super cute for summer, office to dinner, etc. Also will be perfect to throw on for errands or anything else on the weekend. I can already tell this will be a popular dress for me this summer! I highly recommend it!

    LOVE THIS DRESS!
I saw this dress in the and knew immediately I would love it. When I put it on, loved it even more. It has beautiful details around the collar, great flow ( not fitted, but still very flattering) and great length. I have the XS. I have worn it several times already and have received several compliments. Wish they made it in more colors!!

    Great summer must have
Love this dress! I was shopping for a post pregnancy dress that was fun and sexy and I saw this dress. Looks much better on than on the hanger. It's a must have! Wish it came in other colors! And btw, I bought my prepregnancy size and no one can tell I had a baby!!!

    Beautiful and versatile!
I cannot say enough good things about this dress! I grabbed it on a whim as I was walking by in the store...on the hanger, it looks just okay. However, when I put it on, I was sold! The color is a gorgeous deep gray, and the fabric is absolutely to die for...super soft, silky, and smooth. I felt very comfortable and luxurious in it. It is good for dressing up and for casual wear too, and it will span all seasons...great with boots, a jacket, and a scarf in fall and with flip flops or wedges in summer. Absolutely fantastic. I don't love that it is dry clean only, but that's the only negative thing I can say. It is roomy but not huge...I am normally a size S or M, and the S has plenty of room. LOVE it!

Perfect dress for day or night
This dress is fabulous. You can dress it up or down. Just accessorize. The color is great for day or night. Easy to wear. If you have any humps or bumps it definitely covers all of it! I purchase an Extra, Extra small. I normally wear a x-small or small. This dress will be in my closet for years to come.....

    A great versatile dress
When I saw this on the hanger, I was dubious, but then I put it on. Great drape, so comfortable and super easy to dress up with killer heels and dramatic jewelry, or dress down with a more boho feel. I wear it to work and on the weekends and I feel great.
